FOCUS:
The goal of the Conference is to present the opportunities for the Pomeranian companies
and discuss how to strengthen cross-border co-operation with businesses from other countries
in the Baltic Sea Region and Europe.
Furthermore the Conference will create a platform of meeting and discussion between the
representatives of chambers of commerce, business promotion organizations, technology parks
from across the Baltic Sea Region and Europe in order to identify potential areas of co-operation and
seek for the common projects.

15:00 Visit to the European Solidarity Center (ECS):
The new ECS building is an agora, a space for people and ideas that build and develop a civic
society, a meeting place for people who hold the world’s future dear. The ECS runs projects
addressed to various groups in Poland, Europe and the entire world: conferences, debates,
children’s and youth projects, theatre productions, film screenings (including 3D), and
temporary exhibitions. Seventeen rooms in the ECS building are taken up by non-governmental
organizations which work towards the common good, freedom and human rights. The Winter
Garden is open year round to provide a venue for artistic activities, meetings and leisure. From
the springtime until the autumn, an observation deck is available on the roof, with a beautiful
panoramic view of the post-Shipyard area, and Gdańsk’s Old and Main Towns.
