Zainteresowania naukowe prof.
zachowania i zastosowania analizy niecałkowitego rzędu w modelowaniu matematycznym.
Wykłada matematykę, analizę matematyczną i metody operatorowe. Od kilkunastu lat recenzuje
prace z fizyki matematycznej i matematyki dla wielu czasopism m.in. dla Journal of
Mathematical Physics, Journal of Physics A, Nonlinear Dynamics, Computers and Mathematics
with Applications.
Od 2013 r. prof. Małgorzata Klimek pełni funkcję Prodziekana ds. nauczania Wydziału

Marian Gałkowski is seriously interested in the differences and similarities between
English and Polish and how they can be used in the process of teaching the English language. He
pays a lot of attention to describing grammar structures in a precise way, which substantially
facilitates learning English in the case of adult students. Furthermore, his area of activity
comprises designing and teaching courses of English aimed at satisfying the needs of particular
types of learners; therefore he has attended a number of workshops and conferences, among
them a British Council course “English for Specific Purposes” in Plymouth. In his efforts to
increase students’ motivation to learn English, he has written a set of exercises accompanied by
DVD films, their focus being the culture of the English speaking countries.
In his personal life, photography is his greatest hobby. Spiritual development and gnosis
also hold a deep fascination for him.

Dr hab. Piotr Pawlik, Associate Professor of CUT, joined the Institute of Physics at the
Department of Production Engineering and Materials Technology, Czestochowa University of
Technology in 1992. Since then his scientific interests were concentrated around studies of
magnetic domain structures and magnetic reversal processes present in hard magnetic Fe-based
alloys. An important effect of those studies were his PhD thesis entitled: “Magnetization reversal
process in nanocrystalline Sm-Fe-N magnets” and the PhD degree with honorable mention
gained at the Institute of Physics Polish Academy of Sciences in 2000. In years 2001-2003 he
was employed as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Department of Engineering
Materials the University of Sheffield (UK). His contract was financed by European Union under
the Research Training Network on Bulk Metallic Glasses, and research coordinated by prof.
Hywel A. Davies. During this period his scientific interest was focused on processing and
characterization of Fe-base alloys, produced at ultrafast cooling conditions – especially bulk
metallic glasses. Studies of Fe-based bulk glassy alloys resulted in development of processing
route for casting bulk glassy tubes.
After his return to Czestochowa University of Technology, he created the rapid
solidification laboratory at the Institute of Physics.
He is the author and/or coauthor of 125 publications, including 41 articles indexed by
JOURNAL CITATION REPORTS and 5 chapters in books. 23 of his articles were referred in
