Dear Friends:
On Saturday, November 7, 2009, the Polish Scouting Organization of Illinois will host a 60th anniversary dinner dance at Przybylo’s House of the White
Eagle in Niles. This major fundraising event will celebrate six decades of
Harcerstwo in Chicago and mark the kickoff of a very special campaign on behalf
of our girl scouts and boy scouts as they prepare to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Polish scouting at a centennial Jamboree (Zlot) in Poland in July 2010.
We are publishing a commemorative program documenting the past sixty years of
Harcerstwo’s work in Chicago which will be filled with greetings and photos from
our supporters and well-wishers. We invite you to become a part of this celebration
by placing a message of congratulations or an ad advertising your organization or
business in this 60th anniversary book. We especially welcome memory pages with
photos from former scouts and their families.
Please fill out the attached form, enclose your copy or camera-ready art, and
return it with payment by September 30, 2009 to Barbara Marquart, 9 Audrey
Lane, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Electronic submissions as well as questions

W sobotę, 7 listopada 2009, nasz Obwód ZHP urządza bankiet 60-lecia Harcerstwa w
Chicago. Tą imprezą zapoczątkujemy akcję jubileuszową, z której część dochodów
będzie przeznaczona na wyjazd naszej młodzieży na Zlot Stulecia Harcerstwa w
Polsce w lecie 2010.
Z okazji 60-lecia wydajemy książkę pamiątkową, do której chcemy włączyć pozdrowienia i życzenia od naszej Rodziny harcerskiej, przyjaciół i sympatyków. Zapraszamy Państwa do udziału w naszym świętowaniu przez umieszczenie wspomnień, stron
“ku pamięci”, życzeń od organizacji lub przedsiębiorstw, i t.p.
