Skills required
Work with the quant development team and manage release of quant libraries
to users and other stakeholders
 Carry out automated testing (regression) using relevant tools
 Maintain code in code repository tools like CVS / SVN / VSS etc and set code
for development, release and post release activities
 Communicate with stakeholders (quant developers & users) for releases and
other release-related activities
 Study C++ code (quant libraries) and write test cases for testing
Engineering graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer
Technology / any other engineering stream (with relevant experience in software
development and testing)
Essential skills:
- Strong understanding and experience of SDLC models and release
management; Good understanding and experience of code repositories
(atleast one well known tool)
- Strong understanding of use of code repository in release management
process
- Strong understanding and experience of various testing stages involved in
software development and releases (unit testing, automated testing, smoke
testing, regression testing etc)
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts; good understanding of C++/Java
programming
- Good understanding and experience on Boost testing framework or UnitTest++
Good to have skills:
- Understanding of derivatives and other financial instruments would be a plus
- Familiarity with derivatives quant models would be a plus
- Good understanding and experience on popular build / continuous integration
server (eg. - Jenkins) would be a plus
