Regulamin Konkursu na Projekt Kuratorski
termin składania zgłoszeń do 31.08.2015
Konkurs na Projekt Kuratorski wystawy zbiorowej, realizowany podczas
Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Sztuki Wizualnej inSPIRACJE 2016.
1.
Organizatorem Konkursu jest Dom Kultury 13muz zwany dalej ORGANIZATOREM.
2.
Przedmiotem konkursu jest organizacja projektu kuratorskiego, interdyscyplinarnej wystawy
zbiorowej. Termin wystawy to 06.2015, termin montażu wystawy to 05.2016r.
3.
Podmiotami uprawnionymi do udziału w konkursie są kuratorzy indywidualni, artyści oraz
zespoły kuratorskie.
4.
Zgłoszony projekt musi zawierać:
a) tytuł projektu,
b) opis koncepcji (do 2000 znaków ze spacjami, w jęz. polskim),
c) listę nazwisk artystów proponowanych do udziału w wystawie,
d) pisemną zgodę artystów na prezentację ich prac lub pisemne zobowiązanie do wykonania
prac i prezentacji ich podczas Festiwalu lub pisemną zgodę właścicieli prac w których
zbiorach one się znajdują w wyżej wymienionym terminie wystawy lub pisemne
zobowiązanie kuratora do sprowadzenia i prezentacji prac określonego (określonych)
artystów,
e) ilość premier wśród proponowanych prac musi stanowić min. 33%,
f) kosztorys organizacji wystawy, a w nim w szczególności: zakup materiałów potrzebnych do
ekspozycji; wypożyczenie sprzętu; wypożyczenie prac lub/i honoraria dla artystów
uwzględniające wypożyczenie prac istniejących, bądź nowych; produkcja prac; transporty
prac w dwie strony; specyfikacja montażu i demontażu wystawy (szacowany czas, liczba i typ
pracownika); koszt ubezpieczenia prac (wartość sprzętu, prac); przyjazdy kuratora/ów na mce organizacji wystawy, m.in. w celu zapoznania się z przestrzenią, na montaż i demontaż
oraz na samo otwarcie wystawy; liczba i koszt noclegów dla artystów, niezbędnych podczas
montażu i demontażu; liczba i koszt noclegów dla artystów przyjeżdżających na otwarcie
wystawy,
g) dokumentację zdjęciową proponowanych prac (w wersji elektronicznej nie większe niż
800x600 pikseli)- dotyczy prac już istniejących,
h) tekst kuratorski (do 10 000 znaków ze spacjami, w języku polskim i angielskim),
i) zgodę na przetwarzanie danych osobowych autorów projektu do celów związanych z
konkursem.
5.
Zgłoszenie projektu w przypadku wyboru oferty jest jednoznaczne ze zgodą na nieodpłatne:
a) wykorzystanie tekstu kuratorskiego w publikacjach Festiwalowych (w tym katalogu) oraz
w mediach
b) możliwości dokonywania skrótów redakcyjnych w tekście kuratorskim.
6.
Termin i forma zgłaszania projektów:
Projekty należy nadsyłać pocztą elektroniczną na adres: [email protected] w
nieprzekraczalnym terminie do dnia 31.08.2015, przy czym decydować będzie data
znalezienia się pliku z projektem na skrzynce e-mailowej pod adresem wyżej wskazanym.
Projekty przysłane po terminie lub nie zawierające wszystkich elementów określonych w
punkcie 4 nie będą brały udziału w konkursie.
7.
Organizator udostępnia plany powierzchni wystawienniczej pod linkiem:

8.
Wybór realizowanego projektu kuratorskiego odbędzie się w następujący sposób:
a) Zgłoszone projekty zostaną poddane ocenie przez Jury Festiwalu inSPIRACJE.
b) Jury Festiwalu inSPIRACJE spośród nadesłanych projektów wybierze jeden, którego autor
(autorzy) zostaną zaproszeni do jego realizacji. Zastrzega się możliwość niedokonania
wyboru projektu.
c) Wybór projektu lub informacja o jego niedokonaniu zostanie ogłoszona do dnia
30.09.2016 na oficjalnej stronie internetowej festiwalu www.inspiracje.art.pl.
9.
Nagrodą w konkursie jest możliwość realizacji projektu wystawy na podstawie odrębnej
umowy z Organizatorem, przy czym Organizator zapewni warunki realizacji wystawy oraz
zapłaci na rzecz autorów wybranego projektu honorarium w łącznej wysokości 7.000 zł
brutto.
Organizator zastrzega możliwość dokonywania zmian w wybranym projekcie, w
szczególności wynikających ze znacznych trudności technicznych realizacji części wystawy
lub znacznych obciążeń finansowych związanych z realizacją projektu.
W przypadku, gdy kurator, którego projekt został wybrany, uchyla się od zawarcia umowy na
realizację projektu z Organizatorem, Organizator może zawrzeć umowę z autorem
(autorami), którego projekt zajął według Jury kolejne miejsce.
10.
Złożenie projektu jest jednoznaczne z akceptacją regulaminu.

The Curator Competition
application deadline: 31st August 2015
The Curator Project Competition in the area of organizing a collective exhibition at the
inSPIRACJE 2016 International Visual Arts Festival
1.
The organizer of the competition is 13muz (hereinafter referred to as “THE ORGANIZER”).
2.
The subject matter of the competition is the organization of the curator project in the area of
an interdisciplinary collective exhibition. The exhibition shall take place in June 2015 and it
shall be installed in May 2015.
3.
The entities authorised to participate in the competition are individual curators, artists and
curator teams.
4.
The submitted project has to contain:
a) the project title,
b) the description of the concept (up to 2000 signs with spaces in Polish),
c) the list of the names of the artists that are to participate in the exhibition,
d) the written consent to present the works granted by the artists, or a written undertaking
to prepare the works and to present them during the Festival, or a written consent of the
owners of works who have them in their collections to present them in the above mentioned
exhibition time, or a written undertaking of the curator to bring and to present the works of
a given artist (artists).
e) the works exhibited for the first time must correspond to at least 33% of all exhibited works,
f) the cost estimate of the organization of the exhibition, which shall especially include: the
purchase of materials required for the exhibition; the rental of equipment; the rental of works
or/and the artists’ fees for the rental of the existing or new works; the production of works;
both-way transport of works; the specification of assembly and disassembly of the exhibition
(estimated time, as well as number and type of employees); works insurance cost (the value
of equipment and works); the cost of curator/curators’ visits in the months of organizing the
exhibition (with the view to getting acquainted with the space, to participating in the assembly
and the disassembly and to participating in the opening of the exhibition); the cost
accommodation (and the number of nights) of artists whose presence is required during the
assembly and the disassembly; the cost accommodation (and the number of nights) of artists
who will come to the opening of the exhibition,
g) picture documentation of proposed works in an electronic version and in a resolution which
does not exceed 800x600 pixels (this provision applies to the existing works),
h) the curator’s text (up to 10,000 signs with spaces in Polish and in English),
i) the consent to the processing of personal data of the project authors for the competitionrelated purposes.
5.
The entity submitting the project acknowledges that if his offer is selected, such submission
shall be considered equal to the consent to:
a) the free of charge use of the curator’s text in Festival publications (including the catalogue)
and in the media,
b) the edition of the curator’s text by means of its abbreviation.
6.
The time limit and the form of project submission:
The projects shall be sent by e-mail to the following addresses: [email protected] by
31 August 2015 at the latest. The date on which the file with the project shall be received in
the mailbox at one of the above addresses shall be the decisive factor.
The projects sent after the deadline or the projects that do not contain all elements specified
in point 4 shall not participate in the competition.

8.
The curator project to be implemented shall be selected in the following manner:
a) the submitted projects shall be evaluated by the Jury of the inSPIRACJE Festival
b) the Jury of the inSPIRACJE Festival shall select one of the submitted projects and its author
(authors) shall be invited to implement it. We reserve the right to refuse to select any project.
c) the selection of the project or the information on not having selected any of the projects
shall be published by the end of the September 2015 on the official website of the festival
(www.inspiracje.art.pl).
9.
The prize in the competition is the possibility of implementing the exhibition project on the
basis of a separate agreement with the Organizer; the Organizer shall ensure the conditions
for the implementation of the exhibition project and he shall pay to the authors of the selected
project the fee in the total amount of 7,000 PLN gross.
The Organizer reserves the right to introduce changes to the selected project, and especially
the changes which are the consequence of significant technical difficulties in the
implementation of the part of the exhibition or significant financial charges related to project
implementation.
If the curator whose project has been selected refuses to conclude the project implementation
agreement with the Organizer, the Organizer shall have the right to conclude an agreement
with the author (the authors) whose project was the runner-up in the Jury’s opinion.
10.
The submission of the project shall be considered equal to the acceptance of the regulations.
