In the first stage of the review process the editors reserve the right to select the manuscripts which are appropriate for the profile of a current volume. Next, two independent external reviewers are appointed for the evaluation of each text. In the case of manuscripts written in a foreign language at least one reviewer is affiliated in a foreign institution other than the author’s and/or is the native speaker of the given language. The manuscripts are anonymously reviewed. The current list of Review Board members is available at the Studia Linguistica website. A review has a written form (see review form) and includes recommendations as to the manuscript’s publication. The final decision regarding acceptance of a positively assessed manuscript is taken by the Editorial Board after the Research Committee’s approval. Authors are warmly welcome to publish in Studia Linguistica! translated by Zofia Chłopek
