Ski Arena is located approximately 90 kilometers from Augustow – Druskininkai, Lituania (map) Accomodation The official accomodation is “MOS hostel”, MOS hotel is located in Augustow. Price is 20 euro for 2 nights per person. Entry fee Entry fee will be 40 euro per skier. Please, see attached ENTRY FORM. Deadline for entries: 25.05.2015 We can accept no more that 50 skiers. Please check if you need visa to Poland or Lithuania. Trainings Practice will be available on Friday – 10 euro per set. Please contact us to book. Transportation There will be organized transportation (bus) that will cost 20 euro for travel from Augustow to Druskininkai and return. Snow Arena entrance The entrance to Snow Arena is 20 euro. Official boat will be 6.0 l. Ski Nautique 200 CB 2011 with Zero Off. Provisional Schedule 29.05. (Friday) - 11.00-18.00 Practice time on water - 19.00 Skiers meeting 30.05. (Saturday) - 7.00 Bus to Druskininkai - 9.00 10.30 Practice and warm up on snow. - 11.00 – 13.00 Snow ski slalom - 15.00 – Bus back to Augustów - 20.00 – Bonfire evening in Augustów 31.05. (Sunday) 9.00 Two rounds of salom on water. After second round - Closing ceremony The schedule can be changed by judges or the organizer. Rules 1. The competition will be run in two disciplines – tournament slalom on water and alpine skiing on indoor slope. The participants must be able to perform in both disciplines. 2. Categories: open and senior 35+, both women and men Minimum starting speed: 34km/h for women, 37 km/h for men 3. There will be 2 rounds of Slalom on lake in Augustow (Poland) and 2 rounds of Slalom on indoor snow slope in Druskininkai (Lithuania). The better pass in each discipline counts to the general classification. The person with the highest total from both water and snow passes wins the competition 4. Scoring (in both disciplines) 1st –100 pts. 2nd – 95 pts. 3rd – 90 pts. 4th – 85 pts. 5th – 80 pts. 6th – 75 pts. 7th – 70 pts. 8th – 65 pts. 9th – 60 pts. 10th – 55 pts. etc… 5. Ex equo In case when skiers have the same score, tie-break in slalom on water decides who wins. Note: the rules can be altered by decision of the organizer.
