Citi Handlowy will provide banking services to the capital city of Warsaw for the second term
On Dec 12, the President of the capital city of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, and the President of the Management Board of Citi
Handlowy, Sławomir S. Sikora, formally signed the agreement under which the bank will manage all bank accounts of the capital
city. The agreement, which commenced on Jan 1, will remain in force for five years. Citi Handlowy has maintained bank accounts of the
capital city of Warsaw since 01/01/2008. The agreement signed in December, which extends the service by another 5 years, is a result of a
public tender announced by the city on June and closed in August. The agreement includes, amongst others, the following services: equipping cash desks of the capital city of Warsaw with POS terminals accepting card payments commission free, local tax transfers at post offices
and payment of family benefits on pre-paid cards.
„Citi Handlowy will be the bank of the capital city for another term. We have worked together for the last five years which resulted in innovative
solutions, such as liquidity management or cash pooling. The cooperation is good and offers many benefits for Warsaw”, said Hanna Gronkiewicz – Waltz, President of the capital city of Warsaw at the conference.
Bank Handlowy has been providing numerous banking services to public sector for many years. The bank serves the budgets of, amongst
others, Tarnów, Kołobrzeg, Inowrocław, Olsztyn, Wałbrzycha, the University of Warmia and Mazury or the Mazovian Railway Company.

The purpose behind the Europroduct competition is to promote brands, goods and services which are the
best in the market. The jury of the competition also recognizes the services which seek to provide complex
and professional services to clients. The competition has been held since 2000 by Polskie Towarzystwo
Handlowe Sp. z o.o. under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and the Polish Agency for Enterprise
Development.

Foreign Transfers — Reminder
We would like to remind you the a few rules the following of which will guarantee you a successful completion of an atypical
foreign transfer.
1. One-time shortenings of a value date: in CitiDirect in the OTHER INSTRUCTIONS fields, please enter one of the following:
VD0 – (with zero at the end) for Express Transfers to be settled on the same day;
VD1 – for Urgent Transfers to be settled on the next working day, at the latest.
Both items should be entered without spaces and any additional descriptions.
The service is paid in accordance with the Banking Commission Fees and Charges or according to individual negotiated
rates.
2. Translation of transfer amount into other currency – the so called equivalent:
To order translation of transfer amount into other currency, in CitiDirect in the OTHER INSTRUCTIONS field, please enter
XXX EQUIVALENT where XXX should be replaced with a code of the currency in which the transfer is to be made.
3. Individually negotiated exchange rate: in CitiDirect, in the OTHER INSTRUCTIONS field, please enter NEGOTIATED EXCHANGE RATE.

Amendment of Banking Commission Fees and Charges
We would like to inform you that the Banking Commission Fees and Charges have been amended effective Jan 11, 2013.
The main changes refer to Trade Finance and Trade Transaction Services—related products for which (in a few cases) the
minimum rate has been lowered and a fee has been introduced for paper factoring application forms. For export letter of credit
(unconfirmed) a commission fee has been introduced for „sending documents without expertise” and for „settlement of receivables for documents sent without expertise”.
The Banking Commission Fees and Charges (in Polish and English) are available on the website of the bank.
