RISK SURVEYOR - trainee Location: Surveyors may be based
in any major UK city after their training period. My client, an
insurance company, offers structural warranties on
properties in the UK and Europe. They are a leading provider
for these services. They have a network of building
surveyors who are responsible for risk managing and
inspecting construction sites to provide a 10-year warranty
in the UK.They are looking for Trainee Risk Surveyors to be
based all over the UK. The person will travel to construction
sites of buildings in their area. Duties Inspecting buildings
being constructed or converted, working closely with
Property Developers, Construction Companies and Builders
to ensure the works are in line with the Technical Manual and
Building Regulations, you may visit multiple sites in one day
belonging to different clients; Recording inspection details
and how benchmarks are being met on the database and
communicating comments to customers and colleagues;
Carry out Developer assessments at the start and completion
of projects; Ongoing liaison with Surveyors and Management
on technical matters – to ensure that standards are met.
Ongoing liaison with Developers / Clients / Builders, offering
technical advice and guidance; Essential Graduate of
construction - Inżynier Budownictwa Experience and
knowledge of general building regulations and laws. (Dobra
znajomość przepisów: Prawa budowlanego, Kodeksu
postępowania administracyjnego oraz rozporządzeń
związanych z ustawą Prawo budowlane) Experience working
on building sites of commercial or domestic buildings Strong
desire to become a building surveyor. Experience managing
relationships with developers and builders Very good English
level Driving license Preferable / Desirable A qualification in
building inspections (Uprawienia Inspektora Nadzoru
Budowlanego). This is NOT essential.

Training Provided
Candidates will spend the first 12 weeks of the job based at
the head office, undertaking an intensive surveying course
on construction sites based in the area. During this time,
candidates will learn all about their surveying procedures,
technical standards and the role. After successful completion
of the training, they will then spend another 12 weeks
training on the job in London.
Salary of £25,000 GBP gross annual is offered for the first 3
months. After 3 months, this increases to GBP£28,000.
Accommodation is provided for the 1st 6 months.
After the training period you will receive a salary equivalent
to a qualified risk surveyor.
