Situation
Geobrugg AG and NORDBETON GmbH were awarded by Formula E to provide,
install and dismantle the motorsport barriers required for the Formula E Grand
Prix in Berlin. To supply the whole circuit different barriers with different heights,
different panel openings for marshals, pit wall and cameras were required. In
close cooperation with Formula E all requirements were fulfilled.

In a record breaking speed just 30 people of Geobrugg, Montageservice and
NORDBETON did install close to 6 km of Motorsport Barriers in just 4 ½ days.
Compared to other temporary race circuits around the world this is a new record
as most other temporary circuits are constructed over several weeks involving
hundreds of people. Representatives of Formula E were present on site during
installation and were impressed by the speed the circuit is developing.
On race weekend Geobrugg and NORDBETON personnel were on site to provide
emergency services including machinery in case barriers need to be replaced or
repaired.
Geobrugg was able to provide the full package to Formula E including the
production and installation of the complete range of Motorsport Barriers at the
ePrix Berlin.
