NATIONAL PARK FOR TOURISM
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO THE
AREA OF THE DRAWA NATIONAL PARK FOR
TOURISM
Pursuant to the Nature Conservation Act of 16 April 2004 (Journal of Laws of 2015,
item 1651), in order to protect the natural and cultural assets of the Drawa
National Park territory, the following principles of availability of the Park area are
established.
Article 1.
1. Marked tourist trails and educational trails listed in Attachment No. 2 to the
Ordinance No. K-010-24/2016 of the Director of the Drawa National Park are
available for hiking free of charge throughout the whole year, from dawn to
dusk
2. Marked bicycle trails listed in Attachment No. 2 to the Ordinance No.
K-010-24/2016 of the Director of the Drawa National Park are available for
bicycle traffic free of charge throughout the whole year, from dawn to dusk.
Cycling or cross-country skiing on the trails open to pedestrian traffic is also
permitted.

Marked equestrian trails and public roads listed in Attachment No. 2 to the
Ordinance No. K-010-24/2016 of the Director of the Drawa National Park are
available for equestrian tourism free of charge.
Article 2.
Vehicle traffic is permitted exclusively on the roads listed in Attachment No. 2 to the
Ordinance No. K-010-24/2016 of the Director of the Drawa National Park.
Article 3.
1. The Drawa river is available for water tourism with the exclusive use of
paddle vessels, for a fee, from 1 January to 15 March, and from 1 July and 31
December, from 9.00 to 19.00.

2. The maximum number of people engaging in water tourism on the Drawa
river in one day may not exceed 700 persons.
3. Water tourism on the Korytnica river from the Bogdanka bridge to the
Bogdanka camping site is permitted from 1 January to 15 March, and from 1
July to 31 December.
4. Water tourism on other water bodies is not permitted.
5. In case of necessity arising from the implementation of conservation
measures or the identification of risks for the Drawa National Park, all forms
of tourism available at the Park may be temporarily suspended, and the
maximum number of people permitted to stay at one time in locations
opened to tourists may be decreased.
Article 4.
1. Camping sites at the Drawa National Park are available throughout the year
and are listed in Attachment No. 2 to the Ordinance No. K-010-24/2016 of
the Director of the Drawa National Park. The number of persons that may
use the camping sites at the Drawa National Park is limited.
2. Places designated for tourists at the Drawa National Park - the berths for
kayaks, kayak pickup sites, available from dawn to dusk, are listed in
Attachment No. 2 to the Ordinance No. K-010-24/2016 of the Director of the
Drawa National Park.
3. Persons staying at the camping sites and other locations made available at
the Drawa National Park are kindly requested to maintain the cleanliness of
their surroundings.
4. Setting of bonfires is only permitted in designated areas.
Article 5.
1. A guide leading an organized group following a joint program, who is not an
employee of the Drawa National Park is required to notify the Management
of the Park of the trip in order to obtain its consent.
2. The organization of car rallies, motorcycle rallies and fishing competitions at
the territory of the Drawa National Park is prohibited. The organization of
other events requires the prior consent of the the Director of the Drawa
National Park.
Article 6.
The water bodies of the Drawa National Park are available for fishing under the
terms and conditions set out in the "Rules of amateur fishing" constituting
Attachment No. 1 to the Ordinance No. K-010-14/2015 of the Director of the Drawa

National Park.
Article 7.
1. The Drawa National Park charges fees for access to its territory.
2. The only document authorizing to the use of the available locations in the
Park is the admission ticket, and in case of persons eligible for
exemptions from fees, an additional document which confirms the eligibility
for their use.
3. The list of fees for access to the territory of the Drawa National Park
constitutes Attachmetn No. 3 to the Ordinance No. K-010-24/2016 of the
Director of the Drawa National Park. The day begins and ends at 10:00.
4. The fees referred to in paragraph 3 are paid in the form of an admission
ticket purchased at the Tourist Information Points of the Drawa National
Park or are paid to the bank account of the Drawa National Park via the
e-bilety ticket sales platform (www.dpn.eparki.pl)
5. In addition to the ticket automatically generated by the system, persons
using the e-bilety ticket sales platform (dpn.eparki.pl) are required to hold
a proof of identity.
6. Any person exempted from the fee for access to the territory of the Drawa
National Park may use one ticket per day.
7. Persons wishing to exercise exemption from the charges for access to the
Drawa River for the purpose of water tourism are required to document the
basis of the exemption by presenting the following documents prior to the
purchase of the ticket:

1. official document confirming their place of residence,
2. the Large Family Card – rodzina.gov.pl,
In accordance with Article 23 section 1 point 1 of the Act on the Protection
of Personal Data of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2015, item 2135) the
reception of a free ticket involves consent to the use and processing of
personal data solely for the purposes of the Drawa National Park.
During inspection persons exempted from charges are required to present
an official document confirming its use. A free admission ticket to the
Drawa National Park may not be transferred to third parties.
In the case of lack of a document confirming the right to exemption from
charges or the refusal to present such a document prior to the purchase of a
ticket, the employee of the Drawa National Park will refuse to issue a ticket.
A tourist without an admission ticket may be punished.
In justified cases, the Director fo the Park may exempt persons from charges
for access to the territory of the Drawa National Park.
In case of cancellation by the Buyer, he may return the ticket not later than
21 days preceding the day on which the ticket was to be used, and obtain a
refund in the amount of 40% of its value.

Article 8.
1. Staying in the locations made available by the Drawa National Park may be
hazardous to human life and health. Individual tourists take decisions on the
entry into the Park based on their own experience and at their own risk. In
the case of organized groups, decisions are taken by the group leader or
tourist organizer.
2. Every tourist staying within the territory of the Drawa National Park is
responsible for the consequences of their own actions, and in particular for
failure to comply with the applicable rules and markings.
3. The Drawa National Park shall not be liable for damage to tourist equipment.
4. Persons staying within the territory of the Drawa National Park are required
to become acquainted with the rules of use of the Drawa National Park for
tourist purposes, to adjust the plans of their activities to their skills and the
current weather conditions, to use equipment appropriate for the type of
activities undertaken, to only use equipment which is in good technical
condition and is fully operational, and to only use the equipment in
accordance with its intended purpose and the principles of operation.
5. The Management of the Drawa National Park shall not be liable for
information about the Park, including information about the tourist trails,
parking sites, protection areas, contained in materials which were not
consulted with the Management of the Drawa National Park and
recommends the use of local information boards, signs and markings or the
materials provided by the Park.
Article 9.
Any activities which could damage or change the elements of the natural or
cultural heritage are prohibited within the boundaries of the Park, including in
particular:
a. littering and polluting of water, air and soil,
b. disturbing, capturing or killing of wild animals, destroying burrows, dens and
nests, collecting eggs and antlers,
c. damaging and destroying plants,
d. lighting bonfires and camping outside the designated sites
e. disturbing the peace,
f. harvesting of wild plants and mushrooms, and their parts
g. using boats and other motor equipment,

h. organization of recreational and sports events without the prior consent of the
Director of the Drawa National Park,
i. swimming in waters administrated by the Drawa National Park,
j. diving in waters administrated by the Drawa National Park.
Article 10.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Nature Conservation, the personnel of the
Park Guard and other authorized employees of the Park Services have the right to
inspect the tourists stying in the territory of the Drawa National Park and to verify
permits, licenses and entry tickets.
Article 11.
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 11 of the Nature Conservation Act, failure to
comply with the regulations in force in the Drawa National Park constitutes a
criminal offense, and is subject to prosecution under the Code of Proceedings in
Cases of Misdemeanors.
LOCATIONS AND PUBLIC ROUTES AVAILABLE FOR TOURIST USE IN THE
DRAWA NATIONAL PARK
1.
For water tourism:
1.1. The Drawa river within the boundaries of the Park, in the period from 1
January to 15 March and from 1 July to 31 December, from 9:00 to 19:00.
1.2. The Korytnica river from the Bogdanka bridge to the Bogdanka camping site,
in the period from 1 January to 15 March and from 1 July to 31 December, from
dawn to dusk.
2. For pedestrian traffic:
2.1. Red trail dedicated to the Stefan Czarniecki:
Drawno – Drawnik – Barnimie – Barnimie camping site – Drawski Matecznik – Zatom
– Św. Hala (Wydrzy Głaz) – Radęcin – Moczele forest settlement – Głusko –
