Representative of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. elected to the ENTSOG Board
December 13th 2012, during the meeting of the ENTSOG General Assembly, the new ENTSOG
Board for the term 1st January 2013 – 31st December 2015 was elected. Rafał Wittmann,
Development Division Director in GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. was nominated as one of the ENTSOG
Board member along with 12 other representatives of Transmission System Operators
operating in the European Union. Stephan Kamphues, CEO of Open Grid Europe GmbH, has
been appointed for a second mandate as President of ENTSOG.

European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) was established in
2009. GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. is the member of ENTSOG since its very beginning.
The main purpose of ENTSOG is to promote the functioning of the internal market in natural
gas and cooperation among TSOs as well as to provide coordinated actions and develop
technical standards on the European gas market.
Specific objectives and tasks of the organisation arise from the Regulation 715/2009 on
conditions for access to the natural gas transmission networks. The most important
responsibilities of ENTSOG embrace the drafting of network codes in the areas defined by the
Regulation 715/2009, the development of Ten-Year Network Development Plans (TYNDP, Gas
Regional Investment Plans, annual summer and winter supply outlooks and recommendations
as to the coordination of technical cooperation among EU and third country TSOs.
ENTSOG leads an open, transparent and extensive consultation with all relevant market
participants in the course of preparation of all above-mentioned documents.
