The objective of the conference is to establish an interdisciplinary forum for exchange of ideas and information regarding barriers to activities and participation of persons with various disabilities and impairments, as well as to promote the development of an environment without barriers and to discuss the ways of overcoming existing obstacles. Our aim is to initiate a discussion on the conditions for effective multidisciplinary rehabilitation, in particular in terms of social and vocational involvement. We sincerely invite pedagogues, psychologists, lawyers, sociologists and social workers, vocational counsellors as well as physicians, physiotherapists, physical education teachers, sport instructors, and all persons interested and engaged in the multidisciplinary rehabilitation. We look forward to hosting guests from Poland, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The presented themes are to be published in a peer-reviewed, two volume monograph (“Involvement of the disabled”); we also aim to recommend selected manuscripts for publication in scientific journals from the field. Official languages of the conference: Polish, English, Russian Languages of the publications: Polish, English. Conference fee: 300 PLN; students and doctoral students: 200 PLN The fee includes: participation in the conference sessions, conference materials, refreshments. The campus provides a canteen, full dinner – 10 PLN Good quality accommodation at the campus on request – prices from 40 PLN/ night The topic of planned sessions: 1. Medical rehabilitation in the involvement of the disabled 2. Personal and environmental barriers in participation of the disabled 3. Multidisciplinary rehabilitation – contemporary trends in the social and vocational involvement 4. Physical education, sport and tourism within rehabilitation of the disabled.
