Present Perfect Aby wyrazić czynność, która właśnie się zakończyła lub odbyła się w przeszłości, ale ma wyraźne skutki w teraźniejszości stosujemy czas Present Perfect. Zdanie tworzymy dodając do odpowiedniej formy czasownika „to have” czasownik regularny z końcówką „-ed” lub „-d” a w przypadku czasownika nieregularnego jego trzecią formę (Past Participle). W zdaniach przeczących używamy formy przeczącej „haven’t” oraz „hasn’t” a w pytaniach czasownik „to have” przestawiany jest na początek zdania.
