RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COMPANIES OR APPROVAL BY COMPETITORS
Dynamic development of polish companies and offices
‘MDDP Michalik Dłuska Dziedzic i Partnerzy’ is a tax consulting company which
develops most dynamically. Baker & McKenzie was appreciated especially for
participation in spectacular proceedings.
The query we sent to tax consulting companies we asked to specify the best team in 2006 in three
categories: dynamic development, spectacular transaction and participation in important tax
proceedings (with information what its importance consisted on, if possible). Whereas many
participants of the ranking postponed this item and those who pointed at an office or a company
standing out from one of the areas rarely justified what premises they have followed during the
selection. Relatively best way it was done in the first category i.e. dynamic development. Most
numerous answers have been given here - 24. This category might be the best sample to illustrate our
market development of tax consulting companies recently. Apart of the leader – ‘MDDP Michalik
Dłuska Dziedzic i Partnerzy’ – companies like ‘Deloitte’, ‘P & K Tax Services’, ‘Grupa OŜóg’,
‘KMPG’ or ‘KPT Doradcy Podatkowi’ were included. These are two subjects from the so called Big
Four and four smaller ones, from which at least two include consultants also employed in the past in
one of the companies from the Big Four.
The least numerous who have been queried referred to the question concerning spectacular
transactions. Some of them explained that they had no knowledge in this issue, whilst the others - that
their superior goal was protecting the entrepreneurs’ business.
We understand this concern regarding customers but at the same time we wish to remind that we did
not require the detailed data. It also was not necessary to precisely quote the amounts involved in each
transaction. We hope that in the subsequent rankings more companies would share with us their
opinions regarding their colleagues successes. This time we decided not to grant any award in this
category. It also is absent in the table.
Already during preparations to the ranking some offices/companies specified new companies names,
subsequent consultants names or legal advisors considered the best, whilst the others gave up their
preferences, without being able to precise why they consider a company or a person particularly
prominent in the tax consulting companies market. Some else recalled subsequent important in their
opinion proceedings. So we decided to show them all, even if in each category they were voted for
with only single vote. The awarded are requested to accept congratulations and approval in the
competitors’ eyes.
