Our main field of expertise is gynaecological cytology (including liquid based cytology) and molecular diagnosis of sexually transmitted pathogens (HPV, Chlamydia, Neisseria, Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma, HSV). We perform such techniques as real-time PCR, NASBA, LAMP, reverse dot blot hybridisation, microarrays, sequencing, SNP analysis, bioinformatics, etc. Meditest’s laboratory is equipped with highly specialised and modern analytical apparatus e.g. Roche real-time PCR LightCycler 2.0, NASBA analyser, automatyczna ekstrakcja kwasów nukleinowych, sekwenator DNA, skaner mikromacierzy (proponuję wybrać 3 najlepsze). Meditest has experience in cooperation with regional R&D institutions and would like to develop its research contacts with organisations and companies abroad. We do research both ordered by external customers e.g. universities and for our own needs developing new diagnostic methods (czy może coś jeszcze?). We are interested in: - development and implementation of molecular diagnostic tools for the detection of pathogens - research on biomarkers of human malignancies, markers predictive of response to therapy and multidrug resistance - development of new water treatment methods – constant monitoring and detection of pathogens - research on biocontaminants in food - devising new methods for genetic diagnosis in farm animals and SNP - development and implementation biosensor diagnostics - devising point-of-care testing (POCT) Target partners: Partners already acquired: Choose your proposal/expertise area: I.
