SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION - PENANCE:
Saturday - 4:00-4:45 pm
The Sacrament may also be celebrated at other times by
appointment with a priest.
SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM:
Baptism is celebrated each Sunday immediately after the
11:45 Mass. Registration and Parental instruction are required
before Baptism. Please call the Rectory for an appointment
several weeks before the desired date.
SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE:
Marriages are to be arranged at least six months in advance,
and prior to any social arrangements. Pre-Cana Conferences
required. Schedule is given during the first appointment with
the priest.
SACRAMENT OF THE SICK & VISITATION OF THE SICK:
Please call the rectory to arrange for the Sacrament of the Sick
and Communion to be brought to the sick and shut- ins.

FOR THE SEMINARIES IN POLAND
KEEPING OUR COMMITMENTS
In the musical Fiddler on the Roof, the husband,
Tevye, whose marriage was arranged years and years
before, wants to know if his wife really loves him.
Was their marriage just an arrangement, a deal? Did
his wife, after all these years, ever love him? Does
she still? We need to know if our loving commitments stick. We need to be reminded and reaffirmed.
In the first reading, Joshua, Moses’ successor, needed
to know if the people would remain faithful to their
covenant with the Lord. Joshua was going to lead
them to a new life—a settled life. Would they be
faithful? Jesus, who identified himself as the very
life of his disciples’ life, needed to know: Will you
also go away or will you stay? We do not often see
Jesus this vulnerable. Peter and the apostles chose to
stay. What will we do?

The parish raffle will be held on Sunday October 18th at
1:00PM in the Father Kozlowski Hall.
Coffee, cake, wine and soda will be served.

Raffle tickets are $100.00
Raffle tickets can be be purchased in the rectory office or
after all the Masses. This is our only parish fundraiser
beside the Thrift Shop. Please support this fundraiser.
Proceeds from the raffle help to make repairs and pay large
bills that we cannot pay from the weekly collection.
Ofiarowanie
Dzisiaj słowo „ofiarowanie” jest
raczej zastępowane zwrotem „przygotowanie
darów”. Nie powinno przy tym zabraknąć naszych
własnych darów ofiarnych, które ze sobą
przynosimy i kładziemy wraz z hostią kapłanowi na
patenę. To wyraża także modlitwa, którą kapłan
odmawia po podniesieniu pateny z chlebem i
kielicha z winem: „Przyjmij nas, Panie, stojących
przed Tobą w duchu pokory i z sercem skruszonym;
niech nasza ofiara tak się dzisiaj dokona przed Tobą,
Panie Boże, aby się Tobie podobała”.
Jeżeli chcemy się rzeczywiście dobrze
przygotować na to, co będzie działo się w następnej
