Dziekan Wydziału Matematyczno-Przyrodniczego i Dyrektor Instytutu Chemii, Ochrony Środowiska i Biotechnologii Akademii im. Jana Długosza w Częstochowie zapraszają 13 kwietnia 2016 r. o godz. 1215 do Audytorium – sala 1023 Al. Armii Krajowej 13/15 na Seminarium Wydziału Matematyczno-Przyrodniczego na którym Profesor Yvan Six Laboratoire de Synthèse Organique (LSO) UMR 7652 CNRS/École Polytechnique, 91128 Palaiseau, France przedstawi wykład: Playing with small ring systems: from titanium-mediated [2+2+2] cyclotrimerisation reactions to the synthesis of biologically active molecules For about 15 years, our group has been involved in the field of transmetallation reactions performed with alkoxytitanium species of the type XTi(OiPr)3 (typically, X = Cl or OiPr). This chemistry originates from the discovery of the Kulinkovich cyclopropanation reaction in 1989, which has led to the invention of a family of powerful reactions with remarkably broad scope. The first part of the presentation will focus on a new [2+2+2] alkyne cyclotrimerisation process developed in this context. The second part of the talk will deal with our recent initial efforts towards the synthesis of the kingianins, natural inhibitors of the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-xL. (Yvan Six) dr hab.
