Our church is a Polish– American Roman Catholic
parish and has become the center of Polish
religious,
cultural,
and
social
life.
Our parish is a place where Polish values are
proclaimed and upheld and also a place where
Poles and non-Poles can express fully their fidelity
to God. We are not in any sense a closed
community, and we welcome all Americans
and
all
ethnic
groups
to
our
church.
A key Polish value is openness to the universal
mission of the Church, and thus we try to make
our church a place in which our friends and
neighbors of non-Polish background can feel
comfortable practicing their Catholic faith.
If you are interested in the Catholic faith, which
flows forth from a 1000-year old Polish culture,
traditions and customs, please visit our church.

Dzisiejsza listopadowa niedziela, jak wszystkie pozostałe w ciągu roku
liturgicznego, przypomina nam o zmartwychwstaniu Pana Jezusa.
Tworzymy
„wspólnotę świętych” – communio sanctorum, to znaczy nadprzyrodzone zjednoczenie Kościoła na ziemi, w czyśćcu i w niebie. Communio
sanctorum zobowiązuje do wzajemnej miłości żywych i umarłych.
Kiedyś wszyscy będziemy razem wielbić Boga przed Jego tronem jako
Kościół Świętych. Pielęgnujmy depozyt naszej wiary i nadzieję
Do 8 listopada duszom w czyśćcu możemy ofiarować dar odpustu
przywiązania do najmniejszego nawet grzechu. Codziennie modlimy
THIRTY FIRST SUNDAY
As Jesus was passing
through Jericho, he saw
Zacchaeus. He called him
by
name
and
told
Zacchaeus to come down
from the tree because
Jesus was going to his
house
right
away.
Zacchaeus was transformed that day as
evidenced by his statement to our Lord. He said,
Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give
to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from
anyone I shall repay it four times over. This lesson
is applicable to all of us. If we are open to seeking
Jesus and strive to get as close as possible to
him, we are going to find that we, too, can be
transformed.
i rozradować Boga.
serca zbyt ciasne, zapał łatwo gasnący i pamięć
o grzechach niebezpiecznie uciska. Właśnie to
Boże królowanie głosili
Apostołowie. Królestwo Bożego zachwytu
nad
stworzeniem,
nade
mną.
Nic
dziwnego, że ta prawda leczy wszelkie choroby.
ŚWIĘTO DZIĘKCZYNIENIA
W sobotę 30 listopada po Mszy sw. o godz.
5:30pm zapraszamy na Uroczysty Obiad z
okazji Święta Dziękczynienia.

Narodowe
I dzisiaj
musimy myśleć o odrodzeniu się naszego narodu
w wielu różnych wymiarach. Chcemy w tym
momencie szczególnie pamiętać o tych, którzy
przelewali swoją krew i oddawali życie w obronie
Ojczyzny. Niech w tych dniach nie zabraknie nas
przy mogiłach żołnierzy z lat 1918-1920 i
modlitewnej o nich pamięci.

MAKING ALL THINGS NEW
The goal of the Making All
Things New promoted by
Cardinal Dolan include:
To enhance the vibrancy of parish
life throughout the
Archdiocese of New York
To strenthen the presence and ministry of the Church in the
urban, suburban and rural areas of the archdiocese
To an appreciation for and participation in Sunday Eucharist
To promote new evangelization efforts throughout the diocese
To realign parishes within the archdiocese considering the of
priests available to serve, financial resources and changing
demographics.
To ensure that all parishioners have opportunities for quality
lifelong Christian education and formation.
To strengthen service to those who are most in need
To promote vocations to the priesthood, religious life, the
diaconate and lay ministry
To new initiatives for youth, young adults and seniors
To build a greater sense of unity among Catholics from all
cultures within the local Church
To increase collaboration among all entities in the local, national
and universal Church.
God our Father, through the Gospel and the Eucharist, You
bring us together as Your Church in the Archdiocese of New
York. Send us Your Holy Spirit, to enlighten our minds and
guide our actions as we plan for the future of parish life in this
Archdiocese. Help us learn new ways to strengthen and revitalize our parish communities, and to be good stewards of the spiritual and material gifts that sustain them. Bless our work, so that
our parishes may continue to witness to the truth of the Gospel,
and be a sign of Your love for all people. We ask this through
Christ our Lord.
The Church always encourages
us, and more intently during the
month of November, to pray for
the deceased. We will remember the deceased throughout
the month of November, and in a special way we will offer our
prayers during the novena of masses for all souls. During each
Mass the names of the deceased will be read. These Masses will
be offered for the names of the departed souls which you have
provided us on your All Souls envelope. “Eternal rest, grant unto
them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Amen.”
In Memorium
Thank you for offer your prayers, sympathy and Masses for my
father Marian Nowak who passed away recently. May Marian and
all faithful departed rest in peace. Bóg zapłać wszystkim, którzy
okazali wyrazy współczucia oraz zamówili Msze sw. w intencji
zmarłego mojego Taty, Mariana Nowak.
