CONTRACT for transfer of the rights to release the article in publication on the occasion of The 2nd International Scientific Conference "Globalization and the Problems of the Environmental Protection", 27.07.2010 concluded on (dd-mm-yyyy) __________________ in Gdansk (Poland), between: Publishing of Gdansk College of Administration ("Wydawnictwo Gdańskiej WyŜszej Szkoły Administracji" in Polish), 80-656 Gdansk (Poland), Wydmy st. 3, e-mail: [email protected], represented by Tomasz Mikołajczewski – Publishing Manager, hereinafter referred to as "The Publisher", and name and surname, degree/title: _______________________________________________________________________ address: __________________________________________________________________________________________ phone no, e-mail: ___________________________________________________________________________________ represented the institution: ___________________________________________________________________________ hereinafter referred to as "The Author". §1 The Author declares that wrote the scientific paper entitled ______________________________________ ____________________________________________ ____________________________________________ ____________________________________________ only with the permission of The Publisher. §6 The Author undertakes to deliver the paper under its merits, formal and language with care and at the level required to publish in the bookish form. Author declares that he knows The Editors Policy valid in the publication, attached to this Contract. §7 ______________ hereinafter referred to as "the paper". Failure to supply the paper to The Publisher before close term (death-line) may cause withdrawal from an agreement by The Publisher. §2 §8 The Author declares that his copyright to the paper are not limited in the field covered by that agreement and transfer rights free of charge at The Publisher publish the paper in bookish form on the occasion of The 2nd International Scientific Conference "Globalization and the Problems of the Environmental Protection", organized by the Gdansk College of Administration ("Gdańska WyŜsza Szkoła Administracji" in Polish) on 27th July 2010, hereinafter referred to as "the publication". If supplied the paper has faults, The Publisher designate for The Author date their removal under pain of withdrawal from the contract by The Publisher. §3 The Author deliver to The Publisher the paper in e-version in MS Word format (version 2003) e-mail: [email protected] and print version. Please attach a short summary to the paper. §4 1. This agreement is entered for the period: first edition with possibility of reprint. 2. In the period agreed in § 4.1 The Author transfer on The Publisher permission to act on behalf of own against persons breaching property copyrights. §5 1. The Publisher may not authorise without the consent of The Author someone to published the paper in the bookish form. 2. The Author may authorise others to publish the paper The Publisher §9 In the case of appear law defects in the paper The Publisher may withdraw from the agreement and demand from The Author to compensate for the damage. § 10 The Publisher submit to The Author one copy of the publication for free of charge. § 11 1. Any amendments and additions for this Contract, must be made in writing form. 2. Any dispute which may arise under this Contract will be settled by The Polish Court established The Publishers. 3. In the matters not regulated by the Contract applied there are provisions in The Polish Act of 4 February 1994 about copyright and neighbouring rights and the provisions of The Polish Civil Code. 4. The Author THE EDITORS POLICY valid in the publication of The 2nd International Scientific Conference "Globalization and the Problems of the Environmental Protection", organized by the Gdansk College of Administration on 27th July 2010 1. Before the title, in the left top corner should be the name of the author, bold type Times New Roman CE 12 points. 2. In the title of paper, bold type Times New Roman 14 points, do not use CAPITAL letters. 3. In title and content of the paper should not use headlines and formatting. 4. Do not move to the new line single-letter words. 5. Should avoid using: a) tables too rich in level – maximum width of tables, drawings, graphs, etc. is 12 cm; b) color graphs, illustrations, etc. – will not be printed in color. 6. The book-size: 17 cm x 24 cm. Paper-size (optional): a) 17 cm x 24 cm, with 2,5 cm margins on each sides of page, or b) A4, with 4 cm margins on the left and right, 2,5 cm margins on the top and 8,2 cm margins on the bottom. 7. The main text: Times New Roman type 12 points, footnotes – 10 points. Line spacing: single, text lined to the left and right side (justified). Indent the first line in a paragraph: 1,2 cm. 8. Titles of chapters and sections write in bold. Before the title of chapter and section insert an empty line. Do not use auto-numbering in chapters and sections. 9. The papers can be in Polish or in English, and: a) if the paper is in Polish, on the end attach title and summary translated into English, but drawings, graphs and tables describe in English in addition; b) if the paper is in English, on the end attach title and summary translated into Polish, but drawings, graphs and tables describe in Polish in addition. The attached summary of the paper should be clearly separated from main text. 10. The volume of the paper should not exceed 40 thousand marks (included spaces). 11. The papers should be provided in e-version, enable editing, MS Word version 2003 format and in print-version.
