Transportation and storage
Underground car parks
Construction of (two-tier) underground car parks, with the
application of the concession model (PPP) for the design,
construction and operation. A two-tier underground garage with
parking places for 600 cars, under the Na Groblach Square in
the vicinity of the Royal Wawel Castle is currently under
construction. A tendering procedure is now going on,
concerning the second twotier underground garage with
parking places for 760 cars, located under the intersection of
Focha Street near the Błonia Krakowskie and the National
Museum. The next planned tendering procedures are as
follows:
1. AL. Mickiewicza Avenue / Cracow The construction of a twotier underground garage with parking places for some 1050
cars, located in al. Mickiewicza Avenue, near the Rolniczy
University, together with a pedestrian subway beneath
Krupnicza
Street
and
Ingardena
Street.
Estimated value EUR 33 000 000
2. Nowy Kleparz / Cracow The construction of a two tier
underground garage with parking places for some 420 cars,
located beneath the Nowy Kleparz crossroad – realised by
ZIKIT, Cracow, Centralna Street. Estimated value EUR 12 000
000
3. Wisla Municipal Stadium / Cracow The construction of two
two-tier underground garages located near the WISLA
municipal stadium at the Reymonta street in Cracow. The first
one for some 570 cars with the entrance from al. 3 Maja
Avenue. Estimated value of investment EUR 22 000 000. The
second for some 495 cars with the entrance from Reymonta
street.
