How to get to the Kraków

There is an international airport Balice in Kraków. Balice has direct connections to Chicago,
Frankfurt, London, New York, Paris, Rome, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Vienna, Warszawa and Zurich.
The airport is located about 16 km from the city.

To get to the Muzyczny Krakow Apartments from the airport Balice, which is just close
to the Rynek, you can take a taxi (approx. 70 polish zloty, i.e. about 18EUR) directly to “Teatr
Bagatela” at the crossroad of “Karmelicka” and “Dunajewskiego”. Or you can take a public bus
number 208 to the Main Railway Station. From there you can walk to the Rynek and then to the
“Karmerlicka” street.
To get to the Krakowiak Hotel from the airport Balice, you can take a taxi (approx. 50
polish zloty, i.e. about 13EUR) or public bus number 208 (to the Main Railway Station via
Krakowiak Hotel). It takes about 35 minutes to go from the airport to the hotel by bus. The ticket
price is 3.2 zloty (~0.75EUR). Tickets are available in trafika kiosks at the airport. Remember to
punch an extra ticket per each big piece of your luggage (exceeding 60 cm length).
To get to the Trzykafki hostel from the airport, you can take a taxi (approx. 70 polish
zloty, i.e. about 18EUR) or public bus number 208 (to the Main Railway Station via Krakowiak
and Trzykafki Hotel), get out at the bus stop “Grottgera”. There is a train from the airport Balice
to the main railway station. It takes about 20 min. From the railway station, one can walk to the
Trzykafki hostel. Please check the map in the website of the hostel.

400.
International train or bus
It is also possible to reach Kraków by an international train or bus. There is a lot of
connections from different European cities.
The main Railway Station and Bus Station is located about 1.5 km from Trzykafki
hostel, 5 km from the Krakowiak Hotel and Pedagogical University (the symposium venue).
To get to Krakowiak hotel from the railway and bus station, you can take a taxi (about
20-25 zloty) or a public bus number 208. The ticket price inside a city is 2.50 zloty for a single
use and 3.10 zloty for 60min. Tickets are available in trafika kiosks at the strain station and all
around the city. Remember to punch an extra ticket per each big piece of your luggage
(exceeding 60 cm length).
To get to Trzy Kafki hostel, take taxi o a public bus number 208 and get out at the bus
stop “Nowy Kleparz” and then walk to the hotel (200m).
How to get to the Pedagogical University–the symposium
venue
To get to the Pedagogical University from the main Railway station and/or from Rynek
you can take any tram to the direction “Bronowice” or “Bronowice Małe” (e.g. Tram 4, 14, 50)
and get out at the tram stop “Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny”.
The University is in a walking distance from the Krakowiak Hotel.
From the Trzykafki hostel, the easiest way is to walk along Aleja Slowackiego to the
crossroad with “Karmelicka” str. (400m) and then take any tram to the direction “Bronowice” or
“Bronowice Małe”.
