THE CHECKLIST FOR AUTHORS OF THE ARTICLES SUBMITTED TO ”S OCIAL D ISSERTATIONS ” JOURNAL Before sending the article to the Editor’s Office please thoroughly check, whether: 1. the article is prepared according to the pattern: TITLE OF THE ARTICLE Jan Kowalski1, Adam Król2 1 Name of the university Name of the university 2 Summary The content (max. 150 words). In case of original articles the following parts should be provided: objective of the work, materials and methods, results and conclusions. Keywords: 3-6 keywords Main body. In case of original articles the following parts should be provided: introduction, material and methods, results, conclusions, discussion, acknowledgements. References: The references list must be put at the end of a dissertation and it must be numbered and put in alphabetical order. 2. information about authors are included according to the pattern: Corresponding author: scientific title, name, surname, full affiliation, the address of the scientific unit, phone, e-mail. Example: professor Jan Kowalski, Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biała Podlaska, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Sidorska 95/97, 21-500 Biała Podlaska, phone: 83 344 99 00, e-mail: [email protected] In case of other authors, scientific title, name, surname and full afilliation should be provided. 3. author (authors) prepared the Free Non-exclusive License Agreement and declaration of ethics and sent it on the Editorial Office postal address Free Non-exclusive License Agreement – 2 copies (all authors sign) Declaration of ethics – 1 copy (the first author signs) http://www.pswbp.pl/index.php/pl/rozprawy-spoleczne 4. the article does not exceed 40000 numbers of characters with spaces When counting the lenght of the article, title, summary, keywords and references should be taken into consideration 4. figures and tables are prepared properly Title of the table above the table, title of the figure – under the figure. Example: Table 1. Results summary, Figure 1. Building design Under tables/figures the source should be given, for example: Source: own study, Source: Kowalski 2015. Figures should be clear and readable, the data distinguish – not using colours but different shades of grey. 5. the citation and references are prepared properly and thoroughly Special attention should be paid on: - needless spaces, - punctuation of double surnames: Anna Kowalska-Nowak, not: Kowalska – Nowak, - proper citation: (Kowalski 2015), (Kowalski, Nowak 2014), (Kowalski et al. 2014), dosłowne cytowanie: (Kowalski 2015, p. 76), - references – according to the pattern: Book: Kunowski S. (2003), Wartości w procesie wychowania. Oficyna Wydawnicza “Impuls”, Kraków. Chapter from a book: Ostrowska U. (2006), Aksjologiczne podstawy wychowania. In: B. Śliwerski (ed.), Pedagogika.
