June 21st – Happy Father’s Day
This Sunday we celebrate Father’s Day. Some men are
called to be fathers of a family through the sacrament of
marriage, and there are men who are called to be fathers
of an immensely large family through the sacrament of
Holy Orders. Fatherhood demands total self-giving.
The cross of each father comprises of a multiplicity of
tasks associated with his daily duty. True fathers will
understand that parenting goes far beyond simply
feeding their children and filling their day with hours of
mindless television. Married love and celibate love can
only be understood within the dimension of total
donation of self. Selflessness demands commitment.
Commitment demands maturity, sacrifice, and a lot of
love. Fatherhood demands responsibility. Every father
who is a true man will be responsible for all of his
actions. Especially today, let us give thanks to God our
Father for all fathers who give themselves
unconditionally.

second training session will be on Thursday, June 25th
at 5:30 pm in the church. Please call the parish office

From June 29th to September 4th our Parish Office will
only be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am
to 4:00 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
During the summer months we will be publishing our
church bulletin 2 times: July 5th and August 2nd. If you
want to request any Masses for July and August, please
do so as soon as possible.

Solemn Mass will be celebrated by Msgr. Murray
Kroetsch and Fr. Tim Hingston followed by traditional
community procession in honour of San Rocco. The
procession starts at St. Pius X Church, proceeds on
Wood Street to St. Paul’s Avenue, Charing Cross, King
George Road, Wood Street and back to the church for
the distribution of bread.

Spotkanie dla kandydatów na ministrantów
(chłopców i dziewczynek) w czwartek 25 czerwca o
godz 5:30 wieczorem w kościele.

Uwaga lektorzy, komentatorzy,Szafarze Eucharystii
Nowy plan posługi na okres wakacyjny jest do
odebrania w zakrystii. Jeżeli ktoś byłby nieobecny w
wyznaczoną niedzielę, proszony jest o znalezienie sobie
zastępstwa.

W okresie letnim od 29 czerwca do 4 września
Kancelaria Parafialna będzie otwarta 3 razy w
tygodniu: we wtorek i środę od godz. 10:00 rano do
4:00 po południu oraz w czwartek od godz. 10:00
rano do 5:00 po południu.
W czasie wakacji biuletyn parafialny będzie drukowany
tylko 5 lipca oraz 2 sierpnia. Jeśli ktoś chciałby
zamówić Mszę św. na lipiec lub sierpień, proszony jest
o jak najwcześniejszy kontakt z kancelarią parafialną.
Kolejny biuletyn będzie wydany dopiero 6 września br.
