Leifur Sigurdarson, the main hero, is an alcoholic, a sex addict and a politician. And the order of words is not random
here, as the experimental form of the movie and the theme, so closely connected to it, orbit around the alcohol addiction.
What is more, by viewing the world with the hero's eyes, camera and editing enable us to see the reality from the
perspective of a person influenced not only by alcohol but also by many other intoxicating substances. This terrifying
world is a slap in the face of the Icelandic elites, to which the off-putting hero of the film belongs to.
