CASINO NIGHT

Casino Night is a great way to have fun and support
a great cause! There are many different games of
chance for your entertainment pleasure, Roulette,
Craps, Poker, Let it Ride, Black Jack or Texas Holdem!
Your goal is to accumulate as many gaming chips as
possible. The chips you have, the more raffle tickets
you get and the better chance you have to win! If you
are not familiar with some of the table games
(including Roulette and Craps), don’t worry, our
dealers and croupiers are happy to teach you the
game. They are there to insure that all our guests
have a good time and receive tickets to participate in
our Raffle.
When you enter Casino Night you will receive $1000
in PLAY Money. This is then converted into gamig
chips at any of our tables. If you run out of chips you
can purchase additional PLAY money and continue
playing. If you win, you cash out your chips for
vouchers which are then converted into raffle tickets
for some great prizes. Some of the prizes include a
flat screen TV, Samsung Tablet, Lottery tree, Borgata
gift cards and Gift Certificates from local merchants.
We will also have 2 great cash 50/50s. There will be
refreshments, as well as beer, wine and soda
available for purchase.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance, or $30 at the
door. They are available at the Nursery School or at
the Rectory. Only 300 tickets will be sold for this
event. If you are interested in donating a prize or

OUTREACH PROGRAM
As we enter Holy Week, we are changing our
tune. We ask that you pray for those that are low
in spirit due to their inability to find a job that will
support their family. We ask prayers for homeless that have become dependent on your generosity to be fed and clothed. We need your
prayers for the single-parent households that are
finding it very hard to play a dual role in raising
their children. Prayers are needed for the men
and women who have become dependent on alcohol and/or drugs to survive the day. Prayers
are also very much needed for the men and
women in the armed services as well as for
America. We are a country that is in need of
God’s love and protection.
While you are praying for the recipients of your
generosity, don’t forget to say a prayer of thanks
for all God has given you.
We, at the Outreach will say a prayer of thanks
for all God has given us through you.

St. Francis de Sales once wrote: “I especially commend earnest mental prayer . . . upon the life and
Passion of our Lord. If you contemplate him frequently in meditation, your whole soul will be filled
with him, you will grow in his likeness, and your actions will be molded on his.” Francis knew that if we
want to see real transformation in our lives, we
need to dwell deeply on the cross. One of the best
ways to do this is to imagine yourself in the upper
room, in Gethsemane, or on the mount of crucifixion. Picture yourself sitting next to Jesus as he consecrates the bread and wine. What does his voice
sound like? What is the expression on his face? Gaze
into his eyes as he stands before Pilate and receives
his death sentence. Why is he silent? What is going
through his mind as he hears the crowd crying out
for his crucifixion? So often we think that what we
do is what matters most. It does matter, but what
God wants to do in us matters even more.

od Niedzieli Palmowej, Niedzieli Męki Pańskiej,
do śmierci w Wielki Piątek i czekania na
zmartwychwstanie w Niedzielę Wielkanocną.
Niedziela Palmowa: w towarzystwie Jego
uczniów, Jezus wjeżdża do Jerozolimy na
źrebięciu, podczas gdy tłumy ludzi pokryły
ulice płaszczami i gałązkami palmowymi.
Poniedziałek: Jezus wyrzuca
ze świątyni bankierów i kupców.
Wtorek i środa: Jezus głosi kazanie
i naucza w Jerozolimie.
Wielki Czwartek: Po umyciu stóp swoim
uczniom, Jezus przeżywa Święto Paschy,
ustanawiając Sakrament
Komunii Świętej – Eucharystii.
Po kolacji, Jezus i jego uczniowie wychodzą
do Ogrójca by pomodlić się, gdzie Jezus jest
aresztowany przez straż świątynną i wzięty na
przesłuchanie przed sąd żydowski – Sanhedryn.
Wielki Piątek: Jezus przed sądem rzymskim przed Poncjuszem Piłatem i Herodem
Antypasem , który odsyła Jezusa do sądu
żydowskiego. Rzymscy żołnierze prowadzą
Jezusa na Golgotę, miejsce czaszki,
gdzie jest ukrzyżowany.
Wielka Sobota: Jezus złożony w grobie,
podczas gdy Jego uczniowie przeżywają
Święto Szabasu.
PRÓBA CHÓRU NA TRIDUUM PASCHALNE
Nadal potrzebujemy osób, które chciałyby przyłączyć się do naszego chóru, który będzie śpiewać
podczas Mszy Świętej Wieczerzy Pańskiej w Wielki
Czwartek oraz Nabożeństwa Wigilii Paschalnej w
Wielką Sobotę. Zapraszamy wszystkich do wzięcia
udziału. Ostatnia próba odbędzie się w najbliższy
wtorek, 31 marca o godz. 19:30, w audytorium.

Wkraczając w Wielki Tydzień, prosimy Was o modlitwę za tych, którzy jej potrzebują, a szczególnie:
- za bezrobotnych niemogących znaleźć pracy,
dzięki której oni sami i ich rodziny mogłyby
godnie żyć,
- za bezdomnych uzależnionych od Waszej hojności w kwestii wyżywienia i ubrania,
- za dzieci wychowywane przez jednego rodzica,
którego rola jest szczególnie trudna,
- za kobiety i mężczyzn uzależnionych od alkoholu oraz/lub narkotyków,
-za żołnierzy i za Amerykę potrzebującą Bożej
miłości i ochrony.
Modląc się za innych pamiętajcie także, aby podziękować Bogu za wszystko to , co od Niego

borykającej się z problemami wspólnoty chrześcijańskiej
oraz na ochronę najświętszych miejsc chrześcijaństwa.

PALM SUNDAY OF THE PASSION OF THE LORD
This week our Liturgy calls for an abrupt change
in our mindset.
Before Mass begins we are
presented with a Gospel account of Jesus’
triumphant entry into Jerusalem. We hold palm
branches in union with the people of Jerusalem
and cry out Hosanna in the highest.
But when we get to the first Mass reading,
we hear Isaiah presenting Jesus as the suffering
servant, and in the psalm we hear Jesus asking
his Father “My God, My God, why have you
forsaken me?”
For the Gospel, we hear Mark’s narration
of the Passion.
Our only words of comfort come from St.
Paul’s letter to the Philippians, where after
describing Jesus as “obedient to the point of
death, even death on a cross”, he goes on to
remind us of Jesus’ final triumph.
Because of this God greatly exalted
Him and bestowed on him the name
which is above every name . . .
All are encouraged to participate in the
solemn celebrations of Holy Week. Check this
