IXth International Conference
of the conference
on
The invited lectures and a selection of the contributed papers will be published as a special issue of
the Journal of Molecular Structure. There are not specific length restrictions for manuscripts, although papers should be of a length appropriate to the material
presented at the Conference. Only papers containing
significant new research results and/or critical review
material will be considered for publication. Where an
individual or research group has several related contributions, they are strongly encouraged to submit a single manuscript featuring the most original aspects of
the work; multiple short papers from an individual or
research group will not be accepted.
Authors wishing to submit a paper are strongly
encouraged to make use of the Elsevier electronic submission website: http://ees.elsevier.com/molstruc/. It
would be helpful for papers to be submitted before the
start of the Conference, but submissions made up to 1
month after the end of the Conference can still be considered for the special issue (please indicate clearly
that the paper is intended for the conference proceedings). Alternatively, authors may bring their manuscript with them to the Conference and hand the original plus two copies to the editorial representative or the
organisers.
Opportunity will be afforded to authors to amend their
papers, where necessary, in the light of discussion at
the Conference. All papers will be examined by referees and are expected to comply with the standards expected for published by the Journal in a regular issue.
Papers will be typeset, and manuscripts should be prepared according to the instructions available at
http://www.elsevier.com/locate/molstruc/.

IXth INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MOLECULAR SPECTROSCOPY

The conference will be held in Lądek
Zdrój – a small spa town located 100 km from
Wrocław in the Sudety Mountains.

Abstracts
The abstracts of all contributions will
be collected in the conference proceedings. No
special format is required for the abstracts,
but they should contain the title in capitals (14
pi bold), the authors and their affiliation (12
pi italic), the text and the necessary references
(12 pi normal, 1½ spacing). Abstracts should
be written with a word processor (Arial font)
and printed on a laser or ink jet printer or on
the computer diskette as a Word 6.0 (or later)
for Windows file or by e-mail as pdf
documents. All abstracts should be in black &
white format only (without colour).
Conference transport
Wrocław—Lądek Zdrój
The conference starts at 15:00 on September
12 . Therefore, the conference coach will leave
Wrocław PKS bus-station (platform No. 5) on
September 12th at 10:30 in order to reach Lądek
Zdrój at approximately 13:00 (before lunch). Please
note that the Wrocław PKS bus station is located at
the back of the Wrocław Główny railway station.

The site of the conference is Hotel "NAD POTOKIEM" (14 Graniczna Str. ,tel. (074) 146-855, fax
(074) 146-439), where most of the participants will
be accommodated. Some participants will be put up
in nearby hotels at comparable standard.
The Conference desk and accommodation will start
at 12:30 (Hotel "NAD POTOKIEM")
The Conference coach will leave Lądek Zdrój on
September 16th at 10:30 in the morning.
Weather Conditions
In the Polish mountains the weather is
usually nice in September, with temperatures
ranging from 10 to 20°C. However, an umbrella or
a raincoat for occasional showers can be useful.
Evenings can be sometimes cold (temperature ca.
5°C).
Lądek Zdrój—Wrocław
Poster presentations
One board of a usable display area 100 cm
(width) x 130 cm (height) will be reserved for each
poster. Appropriate tools for mounting the posters
will be provided.
Attention!
The place in the coach to/from Lądek
Zdrój should be booked by e-mail before 15th of
August 2007.
