((1) For the IFS: The audit scope shall involve the complete activity (=same kind of production on several lines or products under supplier
brands and retailer/wholesaler brands) and not only the production line for retailer/wholesaler branded products, if there is an interference
between the production lines.
Example: A company produces sandwiches and pizzas under supplier brand sandwiches under retailer brand. The IFS audit scope shall
include the global production of sandwiches, not the pizzas. If the auditor notices during the audit that the pizzas’ production lines interfere on
the production of sandwiches, then the audit scope shall include the production of pizzas as well.
As a direct result, the audit time may be extended and extra costs incurred.

It should be noted that all powers conferred by the closed contract, set up between the
standard owners concerned and the accreditation body (DAkkS and Intertek certification

pomiędzy włąścicielami standardów oraz jednostką akredytującą(to znaczy DAkkS i

moŜe w dowolnym czasie towarzyszyć audytorom oraz mieć wgląd do wyników audytu,
po uprzednim powiadomieniu).
In addition, the customer who enters into a contract with Intertek certification, has the
right to appeal. The complaint is then proceed in accordance with the established
procedures of Intertek certification and the contractual procedures regarding the
certification and the standard owner and / or the DAkkS. / Dodatkowo klient, który
zawiera umowę z Intertek, ma prawo do złoŜenia odwołania. Skarga jest następnie
rozpatrywana zgodnie z ustalonymi procedurami Intertek oraz procedurami właściciela

On a reset / recall because of dangerous products the certification body has to be
informed within 24 hours per e-mail ([email protected]) / W przypadku wycofania
