Invites you to participate in an
INTERNATIONAL ART COMPETITION
of
Frederic Chopin’s musical
inspiration in the Arts.
OBJECTIVES:
Creating initiatives in children for the development of their skills in fine
and creative arts.
Learning the biography and music of the great composer, Fredric
Chopin.
Exposing children to classical music.
Creating ties among different schools within the EU.
RULES:
1. The competition is open for children between 3 and 6 years of age.
2. Prizes will be given to the winners in two age divisions: 3 – 4 years old
and 5 – 6 years old.
3. Children are free to choose their own technique for their submission.
Judging will be based mainly on the creativity and independence of each
submission.
4. Each submission must include the following: full name of the author, age,
school address (with telephone number), and full name of the supervising
teacher.
5. Each school is allowed a maximum of five individual submissions (and a
maximum of one per child).
6. The submissions will be judged by an independent jury.
7. The winners will receive prizes and diplomas.

The prizes will be handed to the winner on the anniversary of Chopin’s birthday,
March 01, 2010 at 10.00 am.
Please note that;
• The winning submissions and runners-up will be displayed in our show
room.
• We do not return mailed submissions.
• The competition organizers reserve the right to publish submissions free
of charge. Teachers who enter children’s submissions agree to publish
both the child’s and their own submitted information.
