The Competition is organized by the:
School of Music of the 1st level in Trzciana
Fryderyk Chopin School of Music of the 2nd Levels in Cracow
Italian Institute of Culture in Cracov
Association of Małopolska Manufaktura Sztuki
2. The purpose of the competition is to popularize Italian composers’ works, with an
emphasis placed on Ettore Pozzoli’s ones, as well as the works of Polish composers, without
pieces by F. Chopin .
3. The Jury will consist of:

4. The Competition will be held in five age categories:
category I
born on and after January 19th 2008
category II
born on and after January 19th 2006
category III born on and after January 19th 2004
category IV born on and after January 19th 2001
category V
born on and after January 19th 1998
5. The participants are obliged to perform the following programme:
Category I:
One piece of either baroque or classical music
One piece by E. Pozzoli
One piece of Polish composers, without of F. Chopin s pieces
Categories II i III
One piece by D. Cimarosa or other piece of Italian composer XVII, XVIII or XIX
One piece by E. Pozzoli —
One piece of Polish composer, without of F. Chopin s pieces
Categories IV, V,
One piece by D. Scarlatti —
One piece by E. Pozzoli —
One piece of pieces of Polish composer, without of F. Chopin s pieces
One piece lasting no more than ten minutes ( it means, that can lasts shorter)
6. All the pieces must be performed from memory.
7. For all the categories, the competition has only one stage.
8. The participants are obliged to prepare their performance on the basis of an original
edition. The name of the publishing house should be written next to each piece entered in the
application form.
9. The deadline for sending the APPLICATION FORM with a copy of the proof of the
enrolment fee payment is December 20th 2016. Applications should be sent by traditional

10. The auditions will be held in the following place

11. The jury will work on the basis of the rules of procedure of the Competition. The Jury’s
decisions will be final.
12. The winners are required to attend the gala concert at the end of the contest. The
programme of the final concert will be chosen by the Jury.
13. The obligatory enrolment fee is 60 EUR for foreigners participants and 150 PLN for
Polish participants. It should be paid to the following bank account: Rada Rodziców przy

14. The enrolment fee is not refundable.
15. All the costs concerning the participation in the competition, e.g. travel, accommodation
and meals, are to be covered by the participants themselves.
16. All the participants will be given certificates of participation. The winners will be
awarded with attractive prizes. The prize-winners chosen by the Jury will take part in the
Promotional Concert in the Library of the Warsaw University, which will be held in Warsaw
(Poland) on April 5th, 2015.
17 All the contest auditions, including the final concert, will be held in public and – if
approved by the Organizing Committee – may be broadcast on the radio and television or
recorded, filmed, photographed and then distributed by authorized institutions, with no
remuneration for the performers.
