Students’ duties:
1) Students may have up to 2 unexcused absences.
2) Students must pass both tests (Word and Excel) planned for this course.
3) Students must prepare for the class (theoretical background in statistics and numerical
methods as provided by the teacher)
4) During the statistics/numerical methods part of the course, students will be asked to
solve problems in the classroom and e-mail the solution/report to the teacher upon
completion. In selected topics, bonus problems can be given as homework
assignments for extra points.
Final mark will depend on the sum of marks for the test (must be positive!) and the work in
the classroom:
Final Mark=15( excel)+15( word )+35( statistics)+35 ( numerical)=100(5 grades )
