Scientific program:
XXII Session of the Young Scientific Staff is a continuation of the annual meetings, which aim in enabling the
presentation of the scientific achievements of graduate students and young researchers. The conference
enables the exchange of experiences, views among both the young and experienced faculty. The presence and
involvement during the session for young scientists is an inspiration and an incentive to continue to improve
their scientific workshop. The leading theme of the Session - "Food - Today and Tomorrow" covers the entire
area of research related to the subject of food - both in terms of scientific research and the industrial sector.
We hope that this year's session will also contribute to the further integration of the environment associated
with the science of food and nutrition in wider sense.
Session topics:
• food processing and preservation,
• improvement of technological processes,
• food safety, the use of food additives
• analysis of food,
• food chemistry and biotechnology
• novel foods,
• current trends in human nutrition,
• health-promoting substances and bioactive food,
• and similar issues.
During the session the plenary lectures, oral communications, poster session and panel discussion is provided
Important dates:
 to February 15, 2017 - application and the conference fee payment (500 zł)
 to March 24, 2017 - application and the conference fee payment (550 zł members PTTŻ 600 zł other
participants)
 to March 31, 2017 - sending summaries of scientific reports (speech, poster) and the full texts of
articles for publication in monograph
 it is possible to place the PDF file of the presented poster on the Conference website after May 19,
2017

West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, ul. Jagiellońska 20-21.

Abstracts:
Abstracts of scientific presentations and posters must be submitted in Polish and English languages
[email protected] address. They will be published in the conference proceedings. Full texts of works,
after receiving positive reviews, will be published in a scientific monograph. NOTE - prizes! Free publications
in journals - in Polish Journal of Food And Nutrition Sciences and FOOD. Science. Technology. Quality.
Charges:
The cost of participation (without accommodation), including participation in the conference, conference
materials, meals, evening in the Szczecin Philharmonic and scientific monograph is 500 PLN (with registration
until 15 February 2017), 550 PLN for members PTTŻ and 600 PLN for other participants (up to 24 March 2017).
A certificate of membership in the PTTŻ should be attached to the application form.
