The next Religious Education (CCD)
Class will meet on September 20, 2008.
Classes are in session from 8:00AM to 10:00AM. This is also
the final date for registering students for the program. Students
is grades 2 through 8th are eligible to attend the program.
The Carnival Committee is very grateful for the
donations of paper napkins, Styrofoam plates
and cups and plastic ware, soda and water that
they received to be used at the Parish Summer
Fest. Because of these generous contributions,
they did not have to purchase any of the above
items and fewer expenses added to the success of the carnival. Many thanks to:

Many thanks to the Hispanic Ministry! Because of their hard
work in preparing and selling the Hispanic food for three Sundays before the Summer Fest, they were also able to greatly
reduce the expenses of purchasing Spanish food items, and
they purchased a grill, a large corn cooker as well. They also
were able to afford to pay for the expenses of the entertainment.
To all of you THANK YOU VERY MUCH! May God reward your

September 8th—The Birth of the Virgin
Mary
It is often said that the journey of a
thousand miles begins with a single
step. When we contemplate the Gospel
reading for the feast of the Nativity of
Mary, we can see that the journey of
salvation history has been a very long
one—and it started with Abraham.
When God told him to leave his home for a distant land, he
was already seventy-five years old. Yet because he obeyed,
Abraham became the father of many nations.
Just like Abraham, Mary was called upon to make an act of
faith. The angel Gabriel told her that she was to be mother of
the Messiah. She could have asked a million questions, but
instead, she simply said, “May it be done to me according to
your word” (Luke 1:38). That’s the main reason we celebrate
her birth today—not only because she is Jesus’ mother but
because of her obedience. Thanks to her “Yes,” we can all
know the unending joy of the resurrection.

En aquel tiempo, dijo Jesús a sus discípulos: Si tu hermano peca, repréndelo a solas entre los dos. Si te
hace caso, has salvado a tu hermano. Si no te hace
caso, llama a otro o a otros dos, para que todo el
asunto quede confirmado por boca de dos o tres testigos. Si no les hace caso, díselo a la comunidad, y si
no hace caso ni siquiera a la comunidad, considéralo
como un gentil o un publicano. Os aseguro que todo lo
que atéis en la tierra quedará atado en el cielo, y todo
lo que desatéis en la tierra quedará desatado en el
cielo. Os aseguro, además, que si dos de vosotros se
ponen de acuerdo en la tierra para pedir algo, se lo
dará mi Padre del cielo. Porque donde dos o tres están
reunidos en mi nombre, allí estoy yo en medio de ellos.

tener el día 20 de septiembre de 2008. por la mañana (de 8.00 a 10.00 a.m.). Los participantes tienen
que registrarse durante el primer día de las clases.
En este día se va a tener el lugar la última inscripción. Aceptamos chicos del 2 hasta 8 grado.
Fue un tempo especial lleno
de esfuerzo y trabajo pero
también tiempo de verdadero amor y unión de todos
los que forman nuestra parroquia.

XXIII Niedziela Zwykła
Jezus powiedział do swoich uczniów: Gdy brat twój zgrzeszy
[przeciw tobie], idź i upomnij go w cztery oczy. Jeśli cię usłucha,
pozyskasz swego brata. Jeśli zaś nie usłucha, weź z sobą jeszcze jednego albo dwóch, żeby na słowie dwóch albo trzech
świadków oparła się cała sprawa. Jeśli i tych nie usłucha, donieś
Kościołowi! A jeśli nawet Kościoła nie usłucha, niech ci będzie jak
poganin i celnik! Zaprawdę, powiadam wam: Wszystko, co zwiążecie na ziemi, będzie związane w niebie, a co rozwiążecie na
ziemi, będzie rozwiązane w niebie. Dalej, zaprawdę, powiadam
wam: Jeśli dwaj z was na ziemi zgodnie o coś prosić będą, to
wszystkiego użyczy im mój Ojciec, który jest w niebie. Bo gdzie są
dwaj albo trzej zebrani w imię moje, tam jestem pośród nich.

Kurs przed Chrztem dziecka
Przypominamy, że w każdą trzecią niedzielę miesiąca w naszej
parafii po Mszy św. o godz.
10.30 odbywa się kurs przygotowujący rodziców i chrzestnych
do chrztu dziecka.
Osoby zamierzające ochrzcić
dziecko w naszej parafii są proszone o zgłoszenie się na ten
kurs prze chrztem dziecka. Dlatego należy pamiętać, aby:
► zgłosić się do kancelarii parafialnej przynajmniej
półtora miesiąca prze chrztem. (Aby uczestniczyć w
kursie przygotowującym)
► Przy zapisaniu chrztu jest wymagany akt urodzenia
dziecka.

również i dzisiaj wychodząc z kościoła można nabyć nowy numer
Tygodnika Katolickiego
„Niedziela”. Znajdziemy tam bardzo ciekawe artykuły na temat
życia kościoła w Polsce także
naszej Archidiecezji. Czytając
ten tygodnik a także inne publikacje np.: „Różaniec”, „Anioł stróż”, „Rodzina
Radia Maryja” pogłębiamy naszą wiarę oraz
miłość do Boga i Kościoła.
Jest także do wzięcia za darmo gazeta
„Katolik” wydawana przez naszą Archidiecezję
