Duch Święty na ogół nie działa z pominięciem
człowieka i jego wkładu, lecz powołuje nas do
współpracy. Obdarza nas pewnymi uzdolnieniami
i możliwościami,
których
sami
z siebie,
nawet
z największym wysiłkiem nie bylibyśmy w stanie
wykrzesać. Gdy jednak pozwolimy Bogu działać w sobie,
wtedy natychmiast zaczną się pojawiać rezultaty
przekraczające nasze możliwości. Pewnych efektów
naszych działań nie jesteśmy w stanie przewidzieć nawet
w najśmielszych
oczekiwaniach.
Natomiast
inne
działania, nie po myśli Boga, nie przyniosą rezultatów,
nawet gdybyśmy wykorzystali wszelkie dostępne środki.
Dlatego też konieczne jest jak najlepsze
rozeznanie Bożej woli, by rozpoznać, czego Bóg od nas
w danej chwili oczekuje i jakie są Jego plany na
przyszłość. Jeśli uczynimy to z pokorą, na modlitwie,
wówczas unikniemy wiele niepotrzebnego wysiłku
i zwielokrotnimy rezultaty naszej pracy, przez oddanie jej
owoców w ręce Boga. Ale do tego jest niezbędne
całkowite i bezwarunkowe poddanie się prowadzeniu
Ducha Świętego.

At last! The power hinted at and the Spirit
promised are unleashed on this holy day. We call it
the birthday of the church. Try to listen to today’s
scripture passages with some sense of how electrifying these events must have been to those who lived
through them. Up until now, they have been waiting
in the upper room. In today’s first reading, that room
is filled with wind and fire and bold proclamations in
foreign tongues.
In the second reading, Paul describes the Pentecost event, too. His description includes all of us.
The Spirit lives on in the church in each of us who
are members of the Body of Christ, given different
gifts from the same Spirit. Only after Pentecost could
the apostles look back and understand what Jesus
meant when he said, as reported in today’s Gospel
reading, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

We would like to thank to all the volunteers who help to
run a Parish Carnival.
We would like to invite you, especially youth, to Lednica
Youth Celebration X on June 14, 2014. We will gather at
St. Rosalie Parish.
Religious Education registration is now in progress. Order forms are available in
the vestibule and in the Parish office.
This week we have second collection for retired Priest of the Archdiocese of
Chicago. Thank you for your generosity.
On June 22nd we will be celebrating Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood
of Christ followed by a procession after 12:00pm Mass. If you would like to help
us decorate please call the office. Thank you for your cooperation!

those who have been working unselfishly.
