Tacy sami, a jednak inni? Pozornie odmienni,
a jednak bardzo podobni? Bliscy, ale zupełnie
różni? Wystawa opowiada o różnorodności
kulturowej Polski, odwołując się nie tylko do przeszłości i tradycji, lecz także do tego, co wiąże się
z różnorodnością kulturową dzisiaj. Czy jej poszukujemy? Czy staramy się ją podkreślać? W jaki
sposób nas wzbogaca? Czy odniesienia do tradycji
stają się twórczą rozmową z przeszłością? Przyjrzyjmy
się tym kwestiom przez pryzmat historii osobistych
par… i ich fotografii ślubnych.

The same yet different? Seemingly disparate,
but very similar? Close, but worlds apart? The
exhibition tells about the cultural diversity
in Poland, reflecting not only the past and
tradition, but also what cultural diversity means
today. Do people search for it? Do they emphasize it? Does it enrich their lives? Do references
to tradition become creative dialogues with the
past? The exhibition tackles these issues referring to couples’ personal accounts… and their
wedding photographs.
