Erasmus na WR-E
W roku akademickim 2015/2016 nasz Wydział cieszy się dużą popularnością wśród
studentów z Programu Erasmus. Warto zaznaczyć, że program ten istnieje od roku 1987.
Jego ideą jest rozwijanie międzynarodowej współpracy między uczelniami poprzez np.
wymianę studentów i pracowników naukowych. Nazwa programu nawiązuje do imienia
holenderskiego filozofa, teologa i humanisty, Erazma z Rotterdamu (1466-1536), który
kształcił się w wielu uczelniach w różnych krajach Europy, a jego poglądy na edukację
przesycone były głębokim humanizmem.
Obecnie w semestrze zimowym na naszym Wydziale studiuje 21 osób z różnych
ośrodków europejskich, a w semestrze letnim ma dołączyć kolejne 5 osób. Mamy naprawdę
mulitikulturową grupę studentów z Niemiec, Holandii, Francji, Włoch, Hiszpanii, Czech,
Słowacji oraz z Kazachstanu. Reprezentują oni bardzo różne, pod względem profilu
kształcenia, ośrodki naukowe np. ISARA Lyon - Ecoled'ingénieur (Francja), Goettingen
Universitat (Niemcy), Politècnica de València (Hiszpania); Kazakh National Agricultural
University (Kazachstan). Studenci Erasmusa na naszym Wydziale uczęszczają na szereg
przedmiotów: Agroecology and Environmental Protection, Sustainable Crop Production,
Ecotoxicology (Fot. 1, 2), Farming Systems (Fot. 3), Economic Aspects of Organic Farming,
Fundamentals of Marketing, Molecular Background of Crop Production, Multifunctional
Rural Development, Non-chemical Weed Management, Plant Protection, Resistance Plant
Breeding, World Agricultural Production i Organic Farming.

Przeprowadziliśmy wśród nich anonimową ankietę na temat ich opinii o studiowaniu
na Wydziale Rolniczo-Ekonomicznym. Zapytaliśmy: “What do you like and dislike about
studying at the University of Agriculture in Krakow (Faculty of Agriculture and
Economics)?” a o to kilka odpowiedzi:
“I like: the number of different subjects you can take, the motivation of the teachers and the
diversification of subjects and ways of learning they bring into the classes; the close contact
and straightforward ability to manage the course; the good quality in most of the courses;
the excursions to the places related to the subject; the lab work; the infinite productive and
loving help in any situation of our coordinator Ela Kugiel; the productive team learning and
producing writing paper tasks. I don't like: not to know at the beginning of the semester
which course is at what time and if its really going to take place, maybe offering courses on
one day only from one faculty, so it will be easier to organize rooms and times; a central
database with all the materials ppt for the courses is missing.”.
“I like at your university the teachers, they can answer any questions and with pleasure to
help. I like the education system, for example how pass the laboratory and practical classes,
it is very interesting! Have all conveniences to students for receiving quality education. I am
very glad to choose your university. Also in my opinion, have some amenities for teachers and
students. I don't like how often change to the schedule among teachers and students. So, it is
not convenient for us to make other plans. The training material very big, but I don’t like how
Erasmus students for this allocated a little time.”
“The courses are quite small and you have to attend! But in fact it is really useful as you learn
stuff over long term”
“I Like: - Young Dr/Prof., good schedule, very interesting classes, Dislike: - too many
presentations, some Professors have very bad English”.
“I like: small groups, relation with teachers, everything is good”
“I like a lot the teachers and the city, however it would be nice of you to have a proper
Biotechnology labs and subjects (molecular biology, microbiology)”
Na pytanie “Would you come back at University of Agriculture in Krakow to study here in
the future?” uzyskaliśmy większość odpowiedzi twierdzących: „Yes yes yes”, “Yes, of course.
I loved the experience”, “Yes, of course! I would like to stay here and study in UR, Thank you
very much for your warm welcome!”, “Any time, I loved the university and the city Krakow
and I will recommend to anybody who wants to take a year abroad. I will be finished in
August so I have no chance to come back!”, “No because it does not coincide with my studies
in France but maybe I will go back for a traineeship”, “I am finishing my University course in
the next year, so there will not be a chance to come back here for studying”
Cóż, pozostaje nam tylko się cieszyć z takich opinii!!
