BAPTISMS:
English Baptisms will be held on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 1:30 PM. Polish Baptisms will be held on the first and third
Sundays of the month at 1:30 PM. Attendance at Baptismal Preparation class is mandatory. Register by calling the Rectory.

On March 20, we entered the first day of Spring, after a long, cold and snowy winter. Unfortunately, as we all
experienced, winter left behind many problems in which we faced in our homes and on our roads. Likewise after
a difficult winter we had some problems associated with it in our Church. Due to the severe frost and snow, leaks
appeared in several places on the walls of our church, as you may have noticed for a few weeks. Last week on
Wednesday and Thursday painters removed the stains and the church was restored in many places. Ten places
required more or less repair and recoating. All this we managed to fix with the help of professional painters. We
warmly thank our parishioners for their help in cleaning up the church after the painting, which included
thorough vacuuming.

Od 20 marca br. weszliśmy w kalendarzową wiosnę, po długotrwałej, mroźnej i śnieżnej zimie. Niestety, jak
sami doświadczamy, zima zostawiła po sobie wiele problemów z którymi borykamy się w naszych domach i
na naszych drogach. Również po trudnej zimie mieliśmy pewne problemy z tym związane w naszym
Kościele. Z powodu silnych mrozów i sniegu pojawiły się przecieki w kilku miejscach na ścianach naszego
kościoła, jak to zapewne zauważyliście od kilku tygodni. W ostatnim tygodniu w środę i czwartek malarze
usunęli te zacieki i kościół został odnowiony w wielu miejscach. Dziesięć miejsc wymagało większej lub
mniejszej naprawy i przemalowania. Wszystko to udało się nam naprawić przy pomocy profesjonalnych
malarzy. Dziękujemy także serdecznie naszym parafianom za pomoc w posprzątaniu kościoła po
malowaniu i gruntowne odkurzenie.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS
The Holy Name Society will be selling candy
bars on Saturday, April 5th after the 4:00 pm
Mass and April 6th after the 8:30 am Mass.
The Holy Name Society at St. Priscilla are looking for
new members to join them. The Holy Name Society
promotes reverence for the Sacred Names of God and
Jesus Christ, obedience and loyalty to the Magisterium
of the Catholic Church, and the personal sanctification
and holiness of its members.
Members are called to contribute to the evangelization
mission of the Church and to make perpetual acts of
reverence and love for our Lord and Savior.
Meetings are held second Sundays of every month
after the 8:30 am Masses in the Rectory Round Room,
from September through June. In order to join, you
have to be a practicing Catholic male 18 years or older.
If you feel like being a part of something bigger
please come to one of our meetings for more
information or call (773) 545-2841 with any questions.
On March 22nd, the Sacrament of Confirmation was
conferred on our Religious Education students by Bishop
Andrew Wypych. I would like to recognize the poeple who
helped to make this ceremony and the following reception a
success.
I want to express a special Thank You:
 To Bishop Andrew Wypych for making it a wonderful day
of spiritual remembrance for the students and their
families.
 To Father Idzi, the rectory staff, and the Religious
Education teachers, for all your help during the
preparation and reception of the sacrament.
 To Anna Ewko, our organist and choir director, who not
only helped prepare the Mass but also worked with the
St. Priscilla choir to prepare the special music for our
celebration.
 To the St. Priscilla Choir for their beautiful singing during
the Sacramental Mass.
 To the ladies of the Catholic Women’s Club and our
Religious Education teachers who helped with the
reception.
 To the students and their parents for all their work
during the preparation and reception of the sacrament.
