Zespół zagra w dniach 5-7.06 w Nurnberg
Foo Fighters - jest amerykańskim zespołem grającym alternative rock oraz post-grunge. Powstał on z
inicjatywy multiinstrumentalisty Dave'a Grohla w 1984 w Seattle po rozpadzie jego wcześniejszego
zespołu - Nirvana. Nazwa zespołu pochodzi od niewyjaśnionego do dzisiaj zjawiska, z czasu II Wojny
Światowej, Foo Fighter. Grupa stała się rozpoznawalna na całym świecie dzięk takim utworom jak:
Everlong, Learn to Fly, Best of You czy też DOA. Warto zaznaczyć, że Foo Fighters w swoim dorobku mają
aż 11 statuetek Grammy, z czego 3 w kategorii Najlepszy Album Rockowy ( There Is Nothing Left to
Lose, One by One i Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace). Są też twórcami wielu ścieżek filmowych,
przykładowo piosenkę "The One" można usłyszeć w filme "Derby County", który wyreżyserował Jake
Kasdan. Zespół ten został sklasyfikowany na 72 pozycji listy "100 Greatest Artist of Hard Rock"
sprządzonej przez VH1. Dotychczasowy dorobek grupy zamyka się na ośmiu płytach studyjnych, 25
teledyskach oraz 41 singlach. Foo Fighters zagrają w dniach 5-7 lipiec 2015 na słynnym, niemieckim
festiwalu Rock am Ring. Obok nich wezmą udział takie zespoły jak: Motorhead, Slipknot oraz Papa
Roach.
