Conference programme assumptions
Ladies and gentleman, colleagues, participants of previous editions,
On 25th November 2016 we shall continue passionate exchange of views started by participants
few years ago in Raciborz (the first edition gathered over 80 speakers from Poland and abroad) and in
Opole (second and additional gathered around 50 speakers). As a result, we have issued 6 monographs
distributed among the speakers on the conference day. Program assumptions stay the same as in the four
previous editions.
Responsible management, business and economy play and import ant, culturally-active role. Civil
society development in Poland as well as in other countries requires action on the lever of units (ethical
leadership), organisations (CSR), country as well as on global level ( such as Global Compact - the
initiative of former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan).
Initiatives from the field of business organisation development and a business with a „human
face”, social self-organisation as well as developing small and more consistent social structures, are
performed all over the world, and their final effect is dependable on the enthusiasm and integration of
efforts of people from the world of business and science, workers from different organisations, consumers
and promoters of social politics. The aim of this conference is to integrate scientist from different
scientific communities into companies and organisations which focus on problems connected with
promotion of responsible business, management and consumerism.
We suggest to exchanging ideas on the following subjects:
 Ethical education, business ethics education.
 Ethical programmes in organisation.
 Ethics of human resources management and ethical leadership.
 Ethics of marketing. advertising, PR.
 Ethics of traditional and new media.
 Ethics of economics and finance.
 Cultural determinants of security in micro, mezo and macro scale.
 Cultural determinants of wealth creation and business ethics. Cross-cultural management.
 Consumers rights and obligations, work of consumer organisations, consumer education.

The deadline for submitting applications shall be 15th July 2016.
2. CONFERENCE FEE:
The amount 150 PLN covers: 1. Post-conference materials, 2. Publication, which will be distributed
among all the authors, whose articles have been published (organisers will make every effort to be able to
do it on the conference day), 3. Catering.
People, whose articles have been positively reviewed shall pay the conference fee from 16th to 30th
October 2016 to the following bank account:

The payment shall be entitled: „C u l t u r a l , s o c i a l a n d e t h i c a l c o n d i t i o n s o f b u s i n e s s , e c o n o m y
a n d m a n a g e m e n t ” + Name and last name of the participant.
 In case of resignation, organisers do not provide for reimbursement of the conference fee.
 Participants cover the costs of travelling and hotel accommodation.
 Organisers can recommend an accommodation, however participants shall book hotels
themselves.
 Digital versions of the articles shall be sent to: [email protected], and [email protected], not later than
on 30th August 2016.
 Hardcopies of the articles shall be sent not later than on 30th August 2016 to the following

 An abstract with keywords in Polish and English in digital version shall be sent not later than on
15th July 2016.
 Rules for drafting texts published in Oficyna Wydawnicaj Politechniki Opolskiej are provided as
an attachment.
 Authors do not receive any remuneration for lectures or the print..
 Positive review of an article is the only condition that qualifies it for publication in collective
work.
 Schedule:
 15.07.2016 – deadlines: application for participation on enclosed participation form,
 30.07.2016 – deadline for submitting abstracts and keywords (5 words maximum) in Polish and
English and a background information about the author (in the third perspective) in Polish.
 30.08.2016 – deadline for submitting articles in digital and paper version.
 15.10.2016 – deadline for acceptance of the articles for publication. Organisers will inform
participants about this fact.
 16.10 to 30.10.2016 – deadline for paying the conference fee by those, whose articles have been
positively reviewed.
