Ołtarz zaprojektował mieszkaniec Sierakowic –
rzeźbiarz Jarosław Wójcik, a wykonali sierakowiccy
rzemieślnicy. Po przewiezieniu na Górę Biskupią
pod Pelplinem Jan Paweł II odprawił przy nim
mszę św. podczas spotkania z Kaszubami
i Kociewiakami 6 czerwca 1999 roku
w czasie VI pielgrzymki papieża do Ojczyzny.
Miesiąc po tej pamiętnej mszy św. ołtarz wrócił
do Sierakowic, by stać się pomnikiem wdzięczności
za 1000-lecie chrześcijaństwa w Polsce. Na gminnej
łące, z niemałym trudem, utworzono park i zbiornik
wodny. 28 września 2000 r. poświęcono ołtarz –
sieć unoszoną przez ptaki. Sieci to najlepszy symbol
Pomorza, podstawowe narzędzie rybaków, ale też
symbol Królestwa Bożego:
„Podobne jest królestwo niebieskie do sieci,
zarzuconej w morze i zagarniającej ryby
wszelkiego rodzaju” (Mt 13,47).
11 listopada 2003 r. z inicjatywy oddziału Zrzeszenia
Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego w Sierakowicach w parku
posadzono Dąb 25-lecia Pontyfikatu Jana Pawła II,
a w czerwcu 2004 r., staraniem Gminy Sierakowice,
postawiono pomnik w kształcie telebimu
z wizerunkiem Papieża Polaka, tego samego autora.

A place worth visiting is the Eight Blessings Park
with the Papal Altar. The Altar was designed by
an inhabitant of Sierakowice – sculptor Jarosław
Wójcik and was built by the Sierakowice craftsmen.
After having been transported to Góra Biskupia
near Pelplin, it was used by Pope John Paul II for
saying a mass during meeting with Kashubians
and Kociewians on 6 June 1999 in the Pope’s 6th
pilgrimage to his native country. A month after that
memorable mass the altar returned to Sierakowice
to become a token of gratitude to John Paul II.
On the communal meadow a park with water reservoir
was created with considerable effort.
On 28 September 2000 the altar – a net raised by
birds – was placed on the foundation. Nets are the best
symbol of Pomerania, the main tool of fishermen but
also a symbol of the Divine Kingdom:
“The kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that is cast
in the sea and brings in a haul of all kinds of fish.”
(Matt 13:47)
On 11 November 2003 a memorial oak-tree
was planted in the park to commemorate the 25th
anniversary of John Paul II pontificate and in June
2004 by Sierakowice Commune efforts a monument
was erected in the form of a telebeam displaying an
image (created by the same author) of the Polish Pope.
Eine sehenswerte Stelle ist der Park der Acht
Segnungen mit seinem Papstaltar. Der Altar wurde
vom Bildhauer Jarosław Wójcik aus Sierakowice
entworfen und von den Handwerkern aus Sierakowice
aufgebaut. Nach dem Umzug nach Góra Biskupia in
der nähe von Pelplin hat ihn der Papst Johann Paul II
zum abhalten der Andacht bei seiner Begegnung mit
den Kaszuben und den Kociewen am 6 Juni des Jahres
1999 während des Papstes VI Pilgerfahrt nach seinem
Heimatland, benutzt.
Ein Monat später nach der denkwürdigen Andacht
kehrte der Altar zurück nach Sierakowice, um dort
sich in ein Denkmal der Dankbarkeit an Johann
Paul II zu verwandeln. Auf einer Gemeindewiese hat
man mit großer Mühe einen Park mi Wasserbecken
eingerichtet. Am 28 September 2000 wurde ein
Altar – in der Form eines bei den Vögeln in die
Höhe gezogenes Netzes, gegründet. Ein Netz ist das
beste Symbol für Pommern, es ist das Grundgerät
der Fischer, aber auch ein Sinnbild des Göttlichen
Königreiches:
„Wiederum gleicht das Himmelreich einem Netz,
das ins Meer geworfen ist und Fische aller Art fängt.“
(Matt 13,47)
Am 11 November 2003 pflantzte man die Eiche im
25 Jahr des Pontifikates von Johann Paul II, und im Juni
2004 stellte man dank der Gemeinde Sierakowice ein
Denkmal in der Form eines Telebimes mit dem Bildnis
des Polen Papstes, hergestellt von demselben Bildhauer.
Un endroit qui vaut d’être visité est le Parc des Huit
Bénédictions avec l’autel du Pape. Le projet de
l’autel a été préparé par un habitant de Sierakowice
– le sculpteur Jarosław Wójcik. L’autel même a été
réalisé par les artisans de Sierakowice. L’autel après
être transporté sur la montagne Biskupia près de
Pelplin, était utilisé par le Pape Jean Paul II durant
la messe avec les habitants de Kaszuby i Kociewie
le 6 juin 1999 pendant le 6e pèlerinage du Pape en
Pologne.
Un mois plus tard, l’autel est retourné à Sierakowice, pour devenir le monument de gratitude pour
le Pape Jean Paul II. Sur le champ communal, avec
beaucoup de difficultés, on a réalisé un parc et un
étang d’eau. Le 28 septembre 2000 on a implanté
l’autel – bâche soutenue par des oiseaux. Une bâche
est le meilleur symbole de la Poméranie, outil
principal des pécheurs, mais aussi du Royaume des
cieux:
«Voici encore à quoi ressemble le royaume des cieux
: des pêcheurs ont jeté en mer un filet qui ramasse
toutes sortes de poissons» (Matt 13:47).
Le 11 novembre 2003 on a planté dans le parc
le Chêne du 25e anniversaire du pontificat
de Jean Paul II, et en juin 2004, par les soins
de la Commune Sierakowice, on a implanté un
monument en forme d’un écran géant avec le visage
du Pape Polonais, réalisé aussi par Jarosław Wójcik.
