If you are 70 1/2 and over and are receiving a TAXABLE IRA distribution then you can deduct up to
$100,000 as a qualified charitable distribution so
long as the amount you deduct would have been
included in gross income anyway - without the donation. These donations can be any amount of
money up to the limit. Please consider your parish
for a donation of this type. Your donation could also
save you a large sum of money at Tax Time. Legislation has this incentive terminating in December of
2007.

Opłatki (wafers) will be available this weekend and
also next weekend (Dec. 16-17). Donation requested: $.50 for the small wafers and $2 for a
package of four large wafers. See a choir member in
the vestibule to obtain your Opłatki for the Christmas holidays.
Bethlehem Gifts
Next weekend - December 9th
and 10th - a display of religious
handmade gifts brought directly
from Christian artists in the
Holy Land will be available in our church after all
Masses. The sale of these items will generate
income to help over 200 Christian families to
maintain their status and presence in Bethlehem,
the place of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Children’s Christmas Concert
Parishioners are most welcome to
enjoy the singing of the school children at the Annual Christmas Concert to be held in the church at 7PM
on Friday evening, December 15, 2006. The children
are working very hard to prepare a most enjoyable
time for all. They are certain that you will leave with a
true spirit of Christmas after the concert.

Retirement Fund for Religious Appeal
The annual collection for retired religious women and
men who have generously and tirelessly served in our
schools, hospitals, parishes and communities for so
many years will take place in our church next weekend,
December 9th and 10 during all Masses. Francis Cardinal George,O.M.I. urges us to remember these generous women and men by being generous in return.
The next Religious Education class
will be held on Saturday , December 9, 2006. Classes will begin at
8:00am and dismissal is at
10:00am.
This program is in need of a 4th
grade catechist. If you are interested in serving
in this capacity, please call Mary Warchol at

PLANNING MEETING FOR LENTEN MISSION
All interested parishioners are invited to attend a meeting on Friday, December 15, 2006 in Makuch at 7PM
to help to plan our parish English Lenten Mission. Fr.
Robert Halter, CSsR, the Mission Director will be present to discuss procedures for the Lenten Mission. Fr.
Halter, is presently ministering at St. Michael’s Parish
in Chicago, IL. We welcome him to our parish and look
forward to participating in a prayerful Lenten Mission.

La Colecta Anual para el Fondo de Jubilación de Religiosas y Religiosos, ha
proporcionado mucha de la tan necesitada asistencia a todas estas personas
que han llevado a cabo su ministerio,
pidiendo muy poco a cambio. La colecta para esta
finalidad se llevara a cabo el día 10 de Diciembre
de 2006.
Es la campaña para responder a la necesidad
de jubilación que tienen las religiosas y religiosos,
quienes por tantos años, generosa e incansablemente, ha ofrecido sus servicios en nuestras escuelas, hospitales, parroquias y comunidades.
Estos religiosos generosos han sido una bendición para nuestra Iglesia y nuestra nación más
allá de todo lo esperado.

Będą znaki na słońcu, księżycu i gwiazdach, a na
ziemi trwoga narodów bezradnych wobec szumu
morza i jego nawałnicy. Ludzie mdleć będą ze strachu, w oczekiwaniu wydarzeń zagrażających ziemi.
Albowiem moce niebios zostaną wstrząśnięte .
Wtedy ujrzą Syna Człowieczego, nadchodzącego w
obłoku z wielką mocą i chwałą. A gdy się to dziać
zacznie, nabierzcie ducha i podnieście głowy, ponieważ zbliża się wasze odkupienie". Uważajcie na
siebie, aby wasze serca nie były ociężałe wskutek
obżarstwa, pijaństwa i trosk doczesnych, żeby ten
dzień nie przypadł na was znienacka, jak potrzask.

W niedzielę 10-go grudnia we

Zjednoczonych prowadzona jest zbiórka funduszy na siostry i braci zakonnych, którzy ofiarnie służyli na różnych polach

Adwentowe
Informujemy, że 17-go grudnia, III niedziela adwentu,
rozpoczną się rekolekcje adwentowe w naszej parafii. Rekolekcje będzie prowadził O. Jacek Białas - Redemptorysta pracujący w Argentynie. Rekolekcje trwać będą do środy 20-go grudnia.
Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału w rekolekcjach.
Donacje
Chcielibyśmy poinformować że jeśli ktoś
jest w wieku siedemdziesięciu i pół roku
lub starszy i otrzymuje opodatkowane
IRA tzw. „Taxable IRA distribution” może
w pełni odpisać od podatków charytatywną donację do $100,000. Jest to możliwe o ile ta suma
jest dodana do dochodu całkowitego na formie podatkowej. Donacja ta może być wielokrotna o ile nie przekracza limitu $ 100,000.
Chcielibyśmy przez to zaprosić aby państwo wzięli to
pod uwagę przy składaniu donacji dla naszej parafii

Kurs przed Chrztem dziecka
Przypominamy, że w każdą trzecią niedzielę
miesiąca w naszej parafii po Mszy św. o godz.
10.30 odbywa się kurs przygotowujący rodziców i chrzestnych do chrztu dziecka.
Osoby zamierzające ochrzcić dziecko w naszej
parafii są proszone o zgłoszenie się na ten kurs prze chrztem
dziecka. Dlatego należy pamiętać, aby:
► zgłosić się do kancelarii parafialnej przynajmniej półtora
miesiąca prze chrztem. (Aby uczestniczyć w kursie przygotowującym)
► Przy zapisaniu chrztu jest wymagany akt urodzenia
dziecka.
Kartki Świąteczne
Gorąco zapraszamy do nabywania przepięknych kartek
świątecznych z okazji nadchodzących świąt Bożego
Narodzenia. Kartki można
kupić u marszałków przy
wyjściu z kościoła.
Opłatki
Na naszym wigilijnym stole nie może
zabraknąć tradycyjnego, polskiego,
opłatka. Tradycja ta wpisana jest
bardzo głęboko w naszą kulturę, historię i sposób przeżywania Świąt
Bożego Narodzenia.
Opłatki można przy wyjściu z kościoła po każdej Mszy Świętej.
Prasa Katolicka
Tak jak w każdą niedzielę tak również i dzisiaj wychodząc z
kościoła można nabyć nowy numer Tygodnika Katolickiego
„Niedziela”. Znajdziemy tam bardzo ciekawe artykuły na
temat życia kościoła w Polsce także naszej Archidiecezji.
Czytając ten tygodnik a także inne publikacje np.
„Różaniec”, „Anioł stróż”, „Rodzina Radia Maryja” pogłębiamy naszą
wiarę oraz miłość do Boga i Kościoła.
