Carnival will be held on

Aug. 26 at the intersection of
Laramie Ave. & 34th St. where there is ample
parking. This year, we will also have BINGO at
the Fest.
If you or someone you know is interested in
booth space at St. Mary’s Summer Fest, now is
the time to reserve your spot. You have the option of renting a booth or simply renting a space
(you bring your own booth or tent).

Dear Parishioners and friends,
The celebration of our parish feast day - Our Lady of
Czestochowa - will take place on Sunday, August 26,
2007. The icon of our Lady of Czestochowa will be carried in in procession after the 12:30 P.M. Mass.
As part of our parish celebration we are once again
preparing to hold our parish SUMMER FEST on the grounds located at
34th and Laramie beginning on Thursday, August 23rd through Sunday,
August 26th. Our town leaders have again granted us permission to use
this property. We are most grateful for their cooperation.
On the final day of the Summer Fest we will have the drawing for our
summer raffle. On the tables in the back of the church, you will find your
envelope containing the raffle book of ten (10) tickets and a flyer with an
explanation of the details of the raffle . They are arranged alphabetically
and we kindly ask your cooperation to pick up your envelope - you will
help your parish to save $800 in mailing costs!
It is most important and it will be much appreciated, if every parishioner, as well as friends of our parish, will make a sincere effort to sell or
purchase the entire raffle book for $100 at $10 per ticket. As of today
(June 3rd) you have 85 days in which to sell all 10 tickets! We cannot
express enough how much we need “extra funds” to help with the upkeep of our parish. We really are counting on everyone’s cooperation to
make our PARISH FEAST DAY RAFFLE and the SUMMER FEST very
successful!
If you would like to participate in the “EARLY BIRD DRAWING,” on
Sunday, July 29th you must return the sold raffle book with your payment of $100 by this date. Don’t forget to return the cover of the book
with your name. All covers of sold raffle books will be entered into the
“Early Bird Drawing.” We will have three drawings for $100 each. The
drawings will take place after the 9:00am, 10:30am and 12:30pm
Masses in the church.
The drawing for the cash prizes of $3,000, $1,000, $500 and other
$100 prizes will take place at 8pm at the SUMMER FEST on Sunday,
August 26th.
Through the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa, may you receive many blessings as you prepare to celebrate our Parish Feast Day.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Each year, the annual Peter's Pence Collection, in support of the works of the Holy Father, is held in parishes
throughout the world. The proceeds from this Collection fund emergency relief assistance to those who suffer from war, oppression, disease, and natural disasters.
Through works of charity, Catholics provide a powerful
witness of love and deeds to empower the weak, the
defenseless, and the voiceless, and to sustain those who
suffer.
The theme for this year's Collection is Let us make sure
that none of God's children ever feels alone. The theme
is based on a September 2006 homily given by Pope
Benedict XVI, in which he explained how those who
are baptized create one family of believers who are
never alone.
As we articipate in this special appeal, we join more
than one billion Catholics worldwide in a loving expression of solidarity. We share in the concern of the
successor of Peter for the many different needs of the
universal Church and for the relief of those most in
need around the globe.
This year, the collection in our diocese is scheduled for
the weekend of June 23rd & 24th. I ask you to consider
contributing to the Collection this year, and I am grateful for your generosity. Together let us ask the Lord to
bless the Holy Father and us, as well as those in need
throughout the world.

En aquel tiempo, un fariseo rogaba a Jesús que fuera a comer
con él. Jesús, entrando en casa del fariseo, se recostó a la mesa. Y una mujer de la ciudad, una pecadora, al enterarse de que
estaba comiendo en casa del fariseo, vino con un frasco de
perfume y, colocándose detrás junto a sus pies, llorando, se
puso a regarle los pies con sus lágrimas, se los enjugaba con
sus cabellos, los cubría de besos y se los ungía con el perfume.
Al ver esto, el fariseo que lo había invitado se dijo: Si éste
fuera profeta, sabría quién es esta mujer que lo está tocando y
lo que es: una pecadora. Jesús tomó la palabra y le dijo: -Simón, tengo algo que decirte. Él respondió:--Dímelo, maestro. Jesús le dijo: ---Un prestamista tenía dos deudores; uno le
debía quinientos denarios y el otro cincuenta. Como no tenían
con qué pagar, los perdonó a los dos. ¿Cuál de los dos lo amará más? Simón contestó:--Supongo que aquel a quien le perdonó más. Jesús le dijo:--Has juzgado rectamente. Y, volviéndose a la mujer, dijo a Simón:--¿Ves a esta mujer? Cuando yo
entré en tu casa, no me pusiste agua para los pies; ella, en
cambio, me ha lavado los pies con sus lágrimas y me los ha
enjugado con su pelo. Tú no me besaste; ella, en cambio, desde que entró, no ha dejado de besarme los pies. Tú no me ungiste la cabeza con ungüento; ella, en cambio, me ha ungido
los pies con perfume. Por eso te digo: sus muchos pecados
están perdonados, porque tiene mucho amor; pero al que poco
se le perdona, poco ama. Y a ella le dijo: --Tus pecados están
perdonados. Los demás convidados empezaron a decir entre
sí: --¿Quién es éste, que hasta perdona pecados?Pero Jesús
dijo a la mujer: --Tu fe te ha salvado, vete en paz. Después de
esto iba caminando de ciudad en ciudad y de pueblo en pueblo, predicando el Evangelio del reino de Dios; lo acompañaban los Doce y algunas mujeres que él había curado de malos
espíritus y enfermedades: María la Magdalena, de la que habían salido siete demonios; Juana, mujer de Cusa, intendente de
Herodes; Susana y otras muchas que le ayudaban con sus bienes.

Asegurémonos de que ninguno de los hijos de Dios nunca
se sienta solo.
Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,
La Colecta Peter's Pence que apoya la labor del Santo Padre, se realiza anualmente en parroquias de todo el mundo.
La Colecta permite proporcionar fondos de asistencia y
socorro inmediato a todos aquellos que sufren como resultado de guerras, de opresión, de enfermedades y de desastres naturales en todo el mundo. Mediante sus obras de
caridad, los católicos dan un firme testimonio de amor y de
acción a fin de empoderar al débil, al indefenso y al que no
tiene voz, y de apoyar a todo aquel que sufre.
El tema para la Colecta de este año es Asegurémonos de
que ninguno de los hijos de Dios nunca se sienta solo. El
tema se basa en una homilía pronunciada por el papa Benedicto XVI en septiem-bre de 2006, en la que explicó que
los que están bautizados forman una familia de creyentes
que nunca están solos.
Al participar en este llamado especial, nos unimos a miles
de millones de católicos en el mundo entero en una expresión de solidaridad y de amor. Junto al sucesor de Pedro,
compartimos su preocupación por las múltiples necesidades de la Iglesia universal y por brindar ayuda a aquellos
que más lo necesitan en el mundo.
Este año, la colecta en su diócesis se realizará el 24 de Junio de 2007.
Les pido por favor que contribuyan a la Colecta de este año
y de antemano les agradezco su generosidad. Todos juntos
roguemos a nuestro Señor para que derrame sus bendiciones sobre el Santo Padre, sobre nosotros y sobre todos
aquellos que sufren necesidades en el mundo.

Les avisamos que esta en la venta la Rifa que
se va a rifar el día 26 de Agosto. El premio
principal es de $3000. El costo de un ticket es
de $10. Por favor colaboren y compren la rifa
para ayudar a nuestra parroquia. El ticket se
puede adquirir a la salida de la iglesia o en la oficina parroquial. Las personas registradas en nuestra parroquia
pueden recoger el sobre que contiene los boletos de la rifa
y la carta en la salida de la iglesia. Los sobres son expuestos en la mesa y ordenados alfabéticamente (según los
nombres).

XI NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA
Jeden z faryzeuszów zaprosił Jezusa do siebie na posiłek.
Wszedł więc do domu faryzeusza i zajął miejsce za stołem. A
oto kobieta, która prowadziła w mieście życie grzeszne, dowiedziawszy się, że jest gościem w domu faryzeusza, przyniosła flakonik alabastrowy olejku, i stanąwszy z tyłu u nóg
Jego, płacząc, zaczęła łzami oblewać Jego nogi i włosami
swej głowy je wycierać. Potem całowała Jego stopy i namaszczała je olejkiem. Widząc to faryzeusz, który Go zaprosił,
mówił sam do siebie: Gdyby On był prorokiem, wiedziałby,
co za jedna i jaka jest ta kobieta, która się Go dotyka, że jest
grzesznicą. Na to Jezus rzekł do niego: Szymonie, mam ci coś
powiedzieć. On rzekł: Powiedz, Nauczycielu! Pewien wierzyciel miał dwóch dłużników. Jeden winien mu był pięćset denarów, a drugi pięćdziesiąt. Gdy nie mieli z czego oddać, darował obydwom. Który więc z nich będzie go bardziej miłował? Szymon odpowiedział: Sądzę, że ten, któremu więcej
darował. On mu rzekł: Słusznie osądziłeś. Potem zwrócił się
do kobiety i rzekł Szymonowi: Widzisz tę kobietę? Wszedłem
do twego domu, a nie podałeś Mi wody do nóg; ona zaś łzami
oblała Mi stopy i swymi włosami je otarła. Nie dałeś Mi pocałunku; a ona, odkąd wszedłem, nie przestaje całować nóg
moich. Głowy nie namaściłeś Mi oliwą; ona zaś olejkiem
namaściła moje nogi. Dlatego powiadam ci: Odpuszczone są
jej liczne grzechy, ponieważ bardzo umiłowała. A ten, komu
mało się odpuszcza, mało miłuje. Do niej zaś rzekł: Twoje
grzechy są odpuszczone. Na to współbiesiadnicy zaczęli mówić sami do siebie: Któż On jest, że nawet grzechy odpuszcza? On zaś rzekł do kobiety: Twoja wiara cię ocaliła, idź w
pokoju! Następnie wędrował przez miasta i wsie, nauczając i
głosząc Ewangelię o królestwie Bożym. A było z Nim Dwunastu oraz kilka kobiet, które uwolnił od złych duchów i od
słabości: Maria, zwana Magdaleną, którą opuściło siedem
złych duchów; Joanna, żona Chuzy, zarządcy u Heroda; Zuzanna i wiele innych, które im usługiwały ze swego mienia.

KARNAWAŁ PARAFIALNY
Po raz drugi chcemy zorganizować karnawał parafialny. W
związku z tym zwracamy się z gorącą prośbą do wszystkich
parafian o pomoc. Aby karnawał mógł się odbyć potrzebne
jest zaangażowanie wielu osób. Chętnych prosimy o wypełnienie poniższej formy i wrzucenie jej na niedzielną kolektę
lub skontaktowanie się z biurem parafialnym.

Dzień Ojca
W dzisiejszą niedzielę obchodzimy Dzień Ojca. Dziś Msze św.
w naszym kościele są sprawowane w intencji Ojców.
Troszczmy się o to, by modlitwą otaczać swoich ojców tak żyjących jak i
zmarłych. Wszystkim tatusiom życzymy obfitości łask Bożych, Bożego błogosławieństwa
i nieustannej opieki św. Józefa.
DUCHOWA ADOPCJA DZIECKA POCZĘTEGO
OCAL ŻYCIE POCZĘTEMU DZIECKU PRZEZ DUCHOWĄ ADOPCJĘ
Duchowa Adopcja jest modlitewnym zobowiązaniem konkretnej osoby w
intencji ocalenia życia dziecka w łonie matki oraz prawego i sprawiedliwego życia po urodzeniu-dziecka, którego imię jest znane jedynie Bogu. Jej
istotą jest krótka codzienna modlitwa oraz jedna Tajemnica Różańca odmawiana przez dziewięć miesięcy i ewentualnie podjęte dodatkowe praktyki.

Czuwanie Nocne
Zapraszamy na czuwanie nocne połączone z
nabożeństwem wynagradzającym Najświętszemu Sercu Pana Jezusa i Niepokalanemu Sercu
Maryi, które będzie miało miejsce w naszej parafii w czwartą sobotę miesiąca tj. 23-go czerwca w godzinach od 7.00 PM do 10.30 PM.
W czasie czuwania można będzie skorzystać z sakramentu pokuty. Serdecznie zapraszamy na wspólną modlitwę.

Naszej Parafii, zachęcamy do nabywania losów Loterii Parafialnej. Każdy, kto nabywa takie Losy, ma
możliwość wygrania, ale przede wszystkim wspiera
naszą Parafię. Losy Loterii można nabywać u Pana
Andrzeja, wychodząc z Kościoła. Cały bloczek - 10
Losów kosztuje $100.-; 1 Los - $10.-. Osoby, które
są zapisane w naszej parafii prosimy o zabranie koperty, w której się
znajdują losy wraz z listem. Koperty te zostały wystawione w tyle
kościoła i są ułożone alfabetycznie (według nazwisk). Zabranie tych
kopert pozwoli na zaoszczędzeniu kosztów całej loterii. Bóg zapłać.
