Prof. Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska is a member of the International Advisory Board for the
ENGINE project. For that reason she was invited to the centre both to participate in the third

the team of Przemyslaw Kazienko and Michal Wozniak possible engagement in European
projects in the field of social network analysis, big data, sentiment analysis and machine
learning. Also, the exchange of data between ESIGETEL and WrUST was considered –

Information referring to the intellectual property
IPR issues were not discussed this time.
Description of the cooperation between universities and
industry
Even though both engaged parties try to find stronger overlap or complementarity for
collaborative research, it seems that it may be difficult to launch real common project. Both
teams promised to keep trying to find some other more realistic opportunities, especially
within European project in H2020.
