Warunki uzyskania zaliczenia przedmiotu:
1. In order to complete the course students have to: - obey attendance and behavior policy; - pass partials
and final tests.
2. Attendance at the partials and final tests is obligatory. The student has no opportunity to take them at the
other term. Only the students who passed the partial tests can take the Final Test.
3. The student can not improve the degree to better one.
4. First partial is American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers examination. To pass it the
student has to correctly answer the test questions (21/25) and pass practical part - both according to
American Heart Association guidelines. If succesful, AHA certificate will be issued.
5. Second partial is 15 questions theory test. To pass the second partial the students have to achieve 60%
(8/15)
6. Final Test – 30 points (theoretical)
VI. FINAL TEST
1. Final test takes place in Collegium Maius. The date of the final test cannot be changed. Students who do
not attend final test obtain ‘Fail’ score and have to take the test during retake session. The only exception
regards absence justified by medical excuse note. In such cases a date will be individually assigned for the
student by the Head of the Course.
2. To be allowed to take the First Aid Final Test student must obtain a positive evaluation from the Simulation
Center Council Meeting. List of students who pass the course and can take the final test will be posted after
final evaluation of the student’s achievements which will take place during Simulation Center Faculty
Council Meeting.
3. To enter final test session students must identify themselves with the students’ IDs and any

other form of picture ID.
4. Final test consist of 30 multiple choice questions, during which students can obtain maximum of
30 points (students obtain one point for one correctly answered question).
5. Students have 30 minutes to answer examination questions.
6. To pass final test students have to answer at least 51% of questions correctly and successfully complete
both partials. In case of failing the final test, student has two retakes: 1st is an theoretical test, 2nd retake is
an oral exam. Dates of the final test retakes cannot to be changed, and there will be no exceptions made.
Absence on final test retakes on given dates equals failing the course. The only exception is absence justified
by medical excuse note. In such cases a date will be individually assigned for the student by the Course
Coordinator. Final evaluation of the First Aid course for all students will be announced after the Simulation
Center Faculty Council Meeting. All the suggestions, comments and requests MUST be addressed to the
Course Coordinator at [email protected] with ‘First Aid Course’ in the title. No other form of communication
has legal value.
7. To check the final test results online STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE A COURSE EVALUTION. If the
student does not fill out the course evaluation that student’s results will not be posted on imul.pl website.
IMPORTANT MEDIA IMFORMATION: Please be advised that video recording will be used during partial
and final, lab sessions, etc throughout the year. As a result, ALL STUDENTS are obligated to sign the Media
Release Form. You declare, that You agree to have your personal image, if it necessary, processed for
examination process.
