Carol jest studentką. Ona ma dwadzieścia
lat. Carol jest z USA. Ona mieszka w
akademiku. Jest bardzo miłą dziewczyną.
Carol ma na sobie niebieską sukienkę. Na
głowie ma kapelusz.
Carol is a student. She is twenty years
old. Carol is from the USA. She lives in
the student dorms. She is a very nice
girl. Carol has a blue dress on. There is
a hat on her head.
Carol chce dziś zadzwonić do swojej
rodziny. Idzie do budki telefonicznej,
ponieważ jej telefon nie działa. Budka
telefoniczna jest na przeciw kawiarni. Carol
dzwoni do swojej rodziny. Rozmawia z
matką i z ojcem. Rozmowa trwa mniej
więcej pięć minut. Potem dzwoni do swojej
przyjaciółki Angeli. Ta rozmowa trwa
mniej więcej trzy minuty.
Carol wants to telephone her family
today. She heads to the call centre
because her telephone is out of order.
The call centre is in front of the café.
Carol calls her family. She speaks with
her mother and father. The call takes
her about five minutes. Then she calls
her friend Angela. This call takes her
about three minutes.
Mike lubi sport. Biega codziennie w parku
w pobliżu akademika. On również skacze.
Jego skoki są bardzo długie. Alexandr i
Marcin biegają i skaczą z Mikiem. Skoki

Mike likes sport. He runs every morning
in the park near the dorms. He runs
today too. He jumps as well. His jumps
are very long. Alexandr and Marcin run
and jump with Mike. Marcin’s jumps are
longer. Alexandr’s jumps are the
longest. He jumps best of all. Then Mike
and Alexandr run to the dorms and
Marcin runs home.
Mike je śniadanie w swoim pokoju. On
bierze chleb i masło. Robi kawę w
maszynie do kawy. Potem smaruje chleb
masłem i je.
Mike mieszka w akademiku w Gdyni. Jego
Mike has his breakfast in his room. He
takes bread and butter. He makes some
coffee with the coffee-maker. Then he
butters the bread and eats.

Mike lives in the dorms in Gdynia. His
pokój jest blisko pokoju Alexandra. Pokój
Mike’a nie jest duży. Jest czysty, ponieważ
Mike go sprząta codziennie. Jest tam stół,
łóżko, kilka krzeseł i trochę innych mebli.
Notesy i książki Mike’a leżą na stole. Jego
torba jest pod stołem. Krzesła stoją przy
stole. Mike bierze kilka płyt CD do ręki i
podaje je Alexandrowi, ponieważ Alexandr
chce posłuchać muzyki amerykańskiej.
Alexandr siedzi w swoim pokoju przy stole.
Jego kot jest pod stołem. Przed kotem leży
trochę chleba. Kot je chleb. Mike podaje
płyty CD Alexandrowi. Na płycie CD jest
najlepsza muzyka amerykańska. Alexandr
też chce dowiedzieć się imion piosenkarzy
amerykańskich. Mike podaje imiona swoich
ulubionych piosenkarzy. Wymienia Avril
Lavigne, Madonna, Mike Anthony i
Jennifer Lopez. Te imiona są nowe dla
Alexandra.
Słucha płyt CD i potem zaczyna śpiewać
amerykańskie piosenki! On bardzo lubi te
piosenki. Alexandr prosi Mike’a, żeby mu
zapisał słowa piosenek. Mike zapisuje
Alexandrowi słowa najlepszych piosenek
amerykańskich. Alexandr mówi, że chce się
nauczyć słów niektórych piosenek i prosi
Mika o pomoc. Mike pomaga Alexandrowi
nauczyć się słów amerykańskich. To trwa
długo, ponieważ Mike nie zna dobrze
języka polskiego. Mike się wstydzi. On nie
potrafi powiedzieć niektórych prostych
zdań. Potem Mike idzie do swojego pokoju
i uczy się polskiego.
room is near Alexandr’s room. Mike’s
room is not big. It is clean because Mike
cleans it every day. There is a table, a
bed, some chairs and some more
furniture in his room. Mike’s books and
notebooks are on the table. His bag is
under the table. The chairs are at the
table. Mike takes some CDs in his hand
and heads to Alexandr’s because
Alexandr wants to listen to American
music.
Alexandr is in his room at the table. His
cat is under the table. There is some
bread before the cat. The cat eats the
bread. Mike hands the CDs to Alexandr.
There is the best American music on the
CDs. Alexandr wants to know the names
of the American singers as well. Mike
names his favorite singers. He names
Avril Lavigne, Madonna, Mike Anthony,
and Jennifer López. These names are
new to Alexandr.
He listens to the CDs and then begins to
sing the American songs! He likes these
songs very much. Alexandr asks Mike to
write the words of the songs. Mike
writes the words of the best American
songs for Alexandr. Alexandr says that
he wants to learn the words of some
songs and asks Mike to help. Mike helps
Alexandr to learn the American words.
It takes a lot of time because Mike
cannot speak Polish well. Mike is
ashamed. He cannot say some simple
phrases! Then Mike goes to his room
and learns Polish.
