Our Mission Statement
Lord, God, all creation is yours, and you call us to serve you by caring for the gifts
that surround us. May the example of St. Isidore urge us to share our food with the hungry and to
work for the salvation of mankind. We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your son, who lives
and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
Saint Isidore, Pray for Us.

WILLS AND BEQUESTS
Having a Will is good stewardship of your finances and possessions. It is a way to provide for
and protect family while supporting the organizations that people care about.
A well-planned will is often the centerpiece of an effective and thoughtful estate plan. When preparing or revising a
will, one makes important choices that make it possible to fulfill personal wishes, such as:


Distributing cash, investments, real estate, and personal property to family and other loved ones.
Providing property management for heirs who may not be prepared to manage their financial affairs.

Reducing taxes and estate settlement costs that could otherwise be due.

Making ‘gifts of a lifetime” to favorite charitable interests.
By preparing and maintaining an up-to-date will, you may save your heirs from problems that can arise when you
fail to plan. In spite of this, more than half of adult Americans reportedly do not have a will.
In most cases, those who own property and are concerned about who ultimately receives it need a will. Regardless
of your age or financial standing, it is important to take charge of deciding who will one day enjoy the property you
have accumulated over your lifetime. Husbands and wives both need a will even if much of their property is held
jointly.
Your will should be reviewed periodically and updated to reflect changes in your life—marriages, births, deaths,
financial gains or losses, and your personal goals. Tax law changes may also prompt a review of your plans. Minor
changes can be accomplished with a codicil, a simple amendment to an existing will. More substantial changes may
require the drafting of a new will. Always consult with your attorney when considering a revision, as handwritten
changes may completely invalidate your will.
If you would like to include gifts to charities, also known as bequests, there are a number of ways you can do so
(specific amount or property, a percentage or a portion of the residue.) Additionally, these gifts can be made in
memory of your loved ones. A charitable bequest is a meaningful way to memorialize someone special to you.
If you would like to create a charitable bequest in your will, please contact the Diocese of Rockville Centre for more
information and the specific legal language that should be used. (Barbara Kilarjian at DRVC 516-379-5210 x229)

RESPECT LIFE CORNER
Perhaps no one has so clearly summarized the
deadly logic of the pro-abortion position
as Mother Theresa.
She declared in her 1979 Nobel Peace Prize speech:
“...If a mother can kill her own child...what is left?
For me to kill you and you to kill me?
There is nothing in between.”

Nazywa się go:
Eucharystią, ponieważ jest dziękczynieniem składanym Bogu. Greckie wyrazy eucharistein i eulogein przypominają żydowskie błogosławieństwa, które – szczególnie podczas posiłku –
wychwalają dzieła Boże: stworzenie, odkupienie i uświęcenie.
Wieczerzą Pańską, ponieważ chodzi o Ostatnią Wieczerzę, którą Chrystus spożył ze swymi uczniami w przeddzień męki, i zapowiedź uczty godów Baranka w niebieskim Jeruzalem.
wspólnotę z Nim i tworzą w Nim jedno ciało
Zgromadzeniem eucharystycznym (synaxis), ponieważ Eucharystia jest w zgromadzeniu
wiernych, które jest widzialnym znakiem Kościoła.
Pamiątką Męki i Zmartwychwstania Pana.
Najświętszą Ofiarą, ponieważ uobecnia jedyną ofiarę Chrystusa Zbawiciela i włącza w nią
ofiara czysta. i Święta, ponieważ dopełnia i przewyższa wszystkie ofiary Starego Przymierza.
uczestnikami swojego Ciała i swojej Krwi, abyśmy tworzyli z Nim jedno ciało.
