INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONFRONTATION “JUST ONE PHOTO 2012”
REGULATION
RULES OF PARTICIPATION
1.The confrontation is organized in the form of open contest and is open available for every
photographer in the world.
2.Each participant will present only one photo,taken during three passed years considered
by the author as the best - monochrome or color, with no predefined technique.
Each submitted photo must be signed overleaf. Each author should include a nick,
the photo’s title and year when photo was taken.
In a sealed, signed envelope each participant schould include on CD/DVD digital version
of the photo and legibly completed entry application with declaration concerning the
autorship of work.
3.Photo formats should be in ranges of 30 x 45 to 70 x 100 cm
The entry photo cannot be glued or framed.
4.It is possible to send the entry work via email (JPG format) on the following
email address: [email protected] with annotation Just One Photo. The reprint will be
developed by the organizing party (maximum format 30 x 45 cm).
5.The Jury appointed by the organizing party will be responsible for appraisal and
judgment, distribution of prizes and selecting the works for the catalogue and for the
exhibition. The decisions of the jury are final and without appeal.
6.The legal rights for awarded and prized works will be forwarded to the organizing party.
7.Every contestant of the post-contest exhibition will receive a commemorative catalogue
with selected works.
8.The organizers reserve the right for repeated, free of charge distribution, recording,
storing and copying of the works for the needs of the contest, namely the presentation of
the exhibition, reproduction in the catalogue, media, Internet and also for the occasional
marketing oriented publications promoting the contest.
9.All the works not fulfilling the described rules of participation will not be considered by
the Jury.
10.All the works entered for the previous editions of the Photography Confrontation “Just
One Photo” will not be considered by the Jury.
11.The organizing party shall not be held responsible for any losses or damages resulting
from the transport of the works.
12. The participation in the competition must be accompanied by the entry fee of PLN 30.00
(thirty Polish Złoty) or EUR 10.00 (ten Euro), in addition all the works send by email
should include additional fee for photo's development of PLN 15.00 (fifteen Polish Złoty)
or EUR 5.00 (five Euro) paid on the following bank account:

name, last name and the address of the contestant taking part in the contest
13.The works shall be sent to the following address:

14.By sending the photo the contestant hereby declares to be the holder of copyrights to the
entered work, all the portrayed people's rights were settled and the contestant holds
permissions of all people to use their image for the purpose of the contest.
(in accordance with Act of 4th February 1994 with later amendments of copyrights and
neighboring rights).
15.By enrolling to the contest the contestant hereby accepts the Rules of Participation and
agrees to process his/her personal data for the purpose of the contest and marketing in
accordance with Act of Protecting Personal Data of 29th August 1997 (Law Gazette Nr.
133, pos. 883 with later amendments).
16.The Organizing party shall not be held responsible for any damages caused by publishing
false personal data or any other untrue information based on participant's entries.
TIMELINE
1.Deadline for sending works 10th September 2012
2.Results of Confrontation and the announcement of the winners and post-contest
exhibition participants will be gived on 24nd October 2012
and will be awailable online at: www.mok-jar.pl and www.jaroslaw.pl
3.Exhibition will take place between 10 November 2012 and 30th November 2012 at
Galeria Rynek 6 Miejski Ośrodek Kultury in Jarosław.
4.The works shall have been returned by 30st April 2013.
