(CH) returns to a Wrocław stage with
a new project: Black Lotos. To Niggli’s
masterful percussion, Xu Fengxia adds
an oriental flavor. “Black Lotos" is the
winner of The German Record Critics’
Award 2009.

The festival “Between East and West”
(Festiwal Między Wschodem a Zachodem) is a festival promoting Russian
culture with the specific focus on the
Orthodox Church and its culture and
traditions, and this is its 2nd edition this
year. In programme are the screenings
of the film “Ostrov (Island)” (RU, 2006,
dir. Pavel Lungin), a photo exhibition
“Polish Orthodox Church” (photography
by Piotr Sawicki), and concerts by an internationally acclaimed basso profundo,
