The theme of the Conference is: Human Impact on the Fluvial Processes of Eurasian Rivers which will take place on September 7th - 9th 2016 in Bydgoszcz (Poland) The Conference is going to be organized on the occasion of the 30 years of functioning of the Inter Institutional Scientific Council on Erosion, River Channel and Mouth Processes. The Jubilee Conference is going to be organized on the occasion of the Thirty years of activity of the Inter Institutional Scientific Council on Erosion, River Channel and Mouth Processes. In 1986 this association was brought into being at the Moscov State University, whose aim was to coordinate and popularize education and research within the field of erosion, river and estuary processes. The Inter Institutional Scientific Council on Erosion, River Channel and Mouth Processes (official name: Межвузовский Научно-Координационный Совет по Проблемам Эрозионных, Русловых и Устьевых Процессов) currently associates 44 universities in Russia and 25 universities abroad (Ukraine – 8, China – 2, Lithuania – 2, Poland – 4, Belarus – 3, Uzbekistan – 3, Kyrgyzstan – 2, Georgia – 1). Mioska 15, 85-428 BYDGOSZCZ INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTORS General notes 'Geography and tourism' is a journal which accepts papers that have not been published before. They must be written in correct English or Polish. Each article will be reviewed prior to printing. Papers should be prepared and sent to the editors via email in .doc file, paper size A4 with standard margins and spacing for 12-point Times New Roman. With abstract, main text, figures, tables and references it should not exceed 20 pages in paper size A4. I. Manuscripts should generally be organized in the following order: a. Title b. Name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliations and fax and e-mail numbers. Fax and e-mail numbers should be placed as footnotes. In the case of more than one author please indicate to whom the correspondence should be addressed. c. Abstract d. Keywords e. Introduction f. Area descriptions, methods and material studied g. Results and analyses h. Discussion and conclusions i. Acknowledgements j. Appendices k. References l. Tables m. Figure captions n. Figures Footnotes, annotations, figures, photographs and tables • If a text calls for additional annotations, they should be placed at the end of the article (listed with Arabic numerals). • If citations are necessary, they must quote the authors, year of publication and page. • Figures and photographs should be provided in black and white or grayscale and should be submitted in an electronic format, in a size suitable for printing at 600 dots per inch (dpi). Please ensure that the provided image files print at a legible size and are of high quality for publication. Individual items in a figure legend should correspond to the numbers marked on a figure, explanations of which ought to be included in a .doc file along with the title of a figure. • Tables are to be provided in a separate .doc file (tables, title, explanations, source). • Titles of figures and photographs should be submitted in a separate .doc file and need to include the following: number, title, explanations to the legend (1 - ….., 2 - …..,), source. II. The following system should be used for arranging references: a. Journal papers: Names and initials of all authors, year. Title of paper. Journal name given in full, volume number (issue number): first and last page numbers of the paper. Example: Kowalski, J. A., Nowakowska, A., 1991. Highly stratified Mediterranean estuary. III. Important information: The author should provide information on sources of funding of research presented in the scientific article or of the preparation of the scientific article.
