VBMSS is designed for rapid creating AT minefields by firing out MN-123 antitank scatterable mines from
dedicated containers. Dispensers can be mounted on either tracked or wheeled vehicles in almost any number,
but 4 - 6 per vehicle is recomended. In case of 6 dispensers the VBMSS is capable to scatter 600 mines in time
below 3 minutes creating vast minefield, 180 meters wide and 1000 meters long. MN-123 mines are designed to
attack the bottom of a military vehicles. The mine is triggered by the influence fuse, that is also fitted with an antihandling device. Before scattering the mine can be programmed to self-destruct after several days have passed.
The MN-123 mine can often significantly damage a vehicle that it hits even if penetration is not achieved. The
mine is also avaliable in training versions MN-123/C and mock-up MN-123/O.
